My husband sent me flowers at my office just because. He paid just about 100.00 for 2 Gerbera Daisies that were browning, 2 pale pink roses that were clearly old. They were all brown around all of the edges. You could see where someone tore off some of the petals to try to make it look better and on of the roses had a hole in the side of the petals and for added appeal it had a dent in it, too. Then, there were 3 lilies and one was fully open. One of the petals was torn and it looked like and it had all weird looking veins in the petals and was turning to a brown color along the edges. Some of the fillers were missing petals just a complete disaster of a bouquet! What kind of a business sends out an old dying bouquet to a customer? One who takes no pride that's for sure!!! Then we sent pictures and requested for them to take the flowers back and refund us our money. They came back with we will give you 20.00 back and never tried to make it right in anyway at all...uh NO!!! Wegman's has much better flowers and for 1/3 of the cost. My son who lives out of state ordered an arrangement for my birthday through Country Florist. He specifically stated that it needed to be delivered before a certain time to my workplace( I work at a school so common sense would be to deliver before 3). They tried to deliver to the school, but it was too late. They left me a message and a phone call so they could get my home address so they could deliver the next day. My mom lives in NC and has been ordering flowers directly through country florist for me for birthdays and anniversaries for 30 years. The last two times she ordered flowers they were not as expected. Last year the flowers arrived wilted and died within days. This past month she ordered pink roses in a bouquet for our anniversary and I received a wildflower bouquet with absolutely no roses at all. Since I had no idea she ordered roses, I thought the bouquet was what she intended. This evening as we were talking about the bouquet she was shocked to learn I hadn't received roses even though she had paid big bucks for them She also specified no lilies and as you can see there are two giant ones. She will be calling them in the morning and hopefully they will make this right. We will not be using them in the future. read more

I needed flowers delivered by 2:00 the same day. I called mid-morning, expecting them to a) be super annoyed, b) throw together something "acceptable" with what they had available in the shop and, c) charge me an extra service/delivery fee. Honestly, at that point, I would have been ok with any or all of the above. I was overwhelmed by their kindness. They created a gorgeous arrangement at a really reasonable price (even gave me a discount!!) and had it delivered in plenty of time. Exceptional customer service. if i could give 0 stars i would...whoever "nancy" is, may i suggest maybe getting a new job if being a florist is too much for you to handle? calling customers "idiots" is COMPLETELY unacceptable, regardless of whether you think they can hear you or not. something along the lines of "wish[ing] covid was still here so proms were cancelled so you didn't have to deal with all these idiots" was uttered from nancy all because we requested a different color corsage that she said she could make for us, and instead you gave us the wrong color. in the grand scheme of things, not a huge issue at all, except you seemed annoyed and frustrated at the simple ask of fixing the issue and insulted us. we will not be ordering flowers of any kind here again unless we want to be insulted and given the wrong item. good luck to nancy as you will face many more self made difficulties if you continue to treat others in the way you currently do. read more

They didn't show up for my wedding at all on 6/22 this year. We must've called them 50 times and no answer and no other way to contact them. My aunt had to run to the grocery store and buy a bouquet so I could have something to carry down the aisle. October 25, 2017 To Whom it Concerns, You recently did the flowers for my daughter's wedding on October 21, 2017 and I must say I was disappointed. There were several things my daughter and I were not happy with. 1. The flowers with the crosses my daughter and I specifically remember the conversation that those were to have gone to the church, with us taking them to the reception to be placed at the memory table upon our arrival. The cross from my mother's funeral my daughter has said for years that when she got married she wanted that cross in church the day of her wedding. She can't get that moment back. 2. All flowers that were supposed to be at our house for photos were not there which resulted in pictures being taken without flowers. The flower for Jennifer's brother was left behind. Again, photos taken without flowers, moments that she can't get back. 3. Your delivery person was more interested in the fact that a red light came on in her vehicle and how to get to the church. A competent delivery person would have gone back and gotten those flowers and would have known exactly how to get to the church. 4. Reception centerpieces--where do I begin? First, when we met with you, a phone call was made to the lady down the road to see if you could get the pumpkins. She was not there and we were told you would call us and let us know the price for the pumpkins. The call never came. My daughter called you several times to try and get answers with the same response that you needed to speak with her and when you found out you would call. Again, no phone call. At one point she was told that you didn't even have the vases for them. I stopped over there the Monday before her wedding to speak to you and you were not there. The lady I spoke with wrote my concerns down and wrote on the paper to call ASAP. ASAP to you was well after 3:00 P.M. With that phone call you did say you could get the pumpkins. You charged her for 4 pumpkins per vase, there were 3. I could not believe when I saw the pumpkins the next morning in the light and saw that you sliced the sides to fit in the vases...how unprofessional! You should have personally tried each pumpkin to make sure they fit in the vases. The water was turning frothy from the sliced pumpkins. She wanted to share those with people that were important to her. Everyone had to dump the water out and throw the cut pumpkins away, not being able to enjoy them as they should have been able to. Her mother-in-law's vase had a rotted pumpkin in it. I can tell you without a doubt in my mind that I would never recommend you to anyone. The above mentioned items are memories for them that are not replaceable. You need to give the utmost attention to your customers as they paid you a great deal of money to make their day special. To future customers, especially for funerals, please read. My family went to Country Florist to order flowers for my Grandpa's funeral, six days prior to his services (four business days). It is located very close to the funeral home. Unfortunately convenience does not always guarantee quality. Most people know it's difficult to order flowers while grieving, so there is a trust that the florist will assist families in honoring their loved ones through memorial arrangements. My Grandpa served in the U.S. Navy. My parents and both my brother and I, as his only grandchildren, wanted to honor my Grandpa's military service through patriotic memorial flowers. My parents ordered a ($200+) red, white and blue casket spray. I ordered a ($120) blue and yellow (specifically darker, NOT pastel) urn arrangement as the Navy's colors are blue and gold. While realistically there aren't many naturally blue flowers, it was suggested by the woman who was helping us order to paint a filler flower, called statice, blue. I was hesitant about painting any flowers until she showed me. Which was nice. The statice was dark purple and took well to the blue paint, so I agreed. I chose the grandchildren's urn arrangement from a sympathy book; we decided to keep same flowers just in blue and dark yellow. The day of the visitations I found this to be a great mistake. The arrangement was all pastel yellow except for a few blown open delphinium stems. The bow was even pale yellow which in a blue and yellow arrangement, could've been blue. Most of the carnations were white, painted yellow, and it was obvious. The statice in both the grandchildren's arrangement and my parents' casket spray was, excuse me, half-a**ed painted blue so there was quite a bit of purple visible when not called for. The hydrangeas in the casket spray were white, painted blue instead of natural blue hydrangeas. Statice was the only flower to be painted, unless painting naturally yellow carnation to make darker yellow (which I did okay at time of order). To upset a family who is already grieving is poor service. The reason the time frame of order placed was stated above was to show that there was time for the florist to order actual yellow carnations and blue hydrangeas, darker yellow lilies (asiatic lilies) and enough white lilies so all the lilies in the casket spray were the same and not 2 noticeably different kinds of lilies. From my own past small shop experience, that time frame is not unreasonable for a shop to receive flowers to fill a custom order. I feel like Country Florist did not care about how my family wanted to honor my Grandpa. We were just another order to them. 2 star rating only because I'm glad we had some flowers for him.
