I have been insured through Moran Insurance for a couple years now. Last year, I had an issue with them withholding information until I paid over $700.00 for my homeowners insurance. The staff was not very friendly about it when I expressed how upset I was. Water under the bridge.
Fast forward to this month. I called in to make a payment. Not only did they tell me my policy amount wrong but they argued over what I had paid them ($445.00) on my previous payment. Stating they took the payment, had the receipt and insisted rudely I only paid $225.00. Once I called the bank and insurance underwriting company and confirmed payment the young lady at Moran Insurance still gave me a really hard time basically calling me a liar, she was very rude and short with me and for the second time (this instance and the last) I ask to speak with one of the owners. Four days passed with no contact so I called Kirsten today myself. She insinuated it was I who was the problem. Suggesting that they transfer my policy to another agency. WHO DOES THAT? I would not recommend this company when they don't keep accurate track of your payments, they do not know what the amount of your policy is, they are rude and the owner apparently doesn't care and acts like you are the problem and suggest I transfer my policy to another agency instead of addressing her personnel issues. Not once but twice in two years I have been treated so rude and unprofessional. Today I have had enough and it sparked to write this review. If I could give less than one star I would.
It appears maybe Dan is getting the good reviews. Might I suggest he call me about my policy and the treatment I have received from his office. Perhaps he care enough to straighten it out. read more
