I called the AAA after calling and was informed to come in. When I arrived I was met by a very inhospitable agent. She was very rude and I accommodating. Told us to come back in 3 hours but apologized for the misinformation. We left very disappointed. I sent her an email advised Ms. Hidalgo what I needed. Never got a response. I called again the number I had called earlier and asked to be put through their other office in Deerwood Parkway. I was transferred to a non- working number. There seems to be many issues, lack of customer service and confusion. I have used this service for years, gone on tours before that were great. Not sure what has happened to their management and accountability. But it made for a very negative experience for my husband and I who took time to drive to their office. read more

I switched my car insurance and needed an inspection before the coverage went into effect. So, I stopped by the AAA office in Ponte Vedra for the inspection. I was greeted within one minute of arriving. I was checked in and told someone would be with me soon. He also pointed out the Florida travel brochures and the snacks in the waiting area. I picked up a few brochures and headed to the snack counter. Pulled out a bottle of water from the fridge and a bag of Doritos. By the time I sat down someone came to assist me. We went outside and she performed the inspection on my car. The entire process took less than ten minutes. My AAA insurance agent, Cigale Bichard-Utley, saved me money on my car insurance. I would recommend using this office and my agent for your car and home rental insurance. read more

I've paid my AAA membership dues for years and the one time I requested a flat tire changed out to spare, it took 4.5 hours to get to me. Even using the AAA App. initial ETA of 90 minutes turned into 180 minutes then a full 4.5 hours. Total unacceptable! AAA distress calls are low priority for the local companies and therefore much lower priority. So I can tell you now just save the yearly membership dues and the few times you need a flat tire changed, battery charge, etc. just Google the closest garage/mechanic and call them DIRECTLY to get the best and fastest service. I have been on the side of I 95 since 6:15pm. It is now 7:45. The operator told me 40 minutes max. I was in a dangerous position and she said it would be sooner. I should be hearing from the service provider shortly. After 40 minutes and no call from anyone, I called and was told they could not find a service person. When I asked why not and why did no one call me and tell me, he could not answer. He assured me he would have one momentarily. At 7:30 I called black again. She said he would be arriving between 7:25-7:30. It was already 7:30. I asked the name of the service company and she could not provide it. I tried to explain to her there was no one coming because the first person never responded. She said the order was put in at 6:21. I know that. Unless you can see another order put in at 7:00 or later, no one was coming. She COULD NOT understand this concept. She kept telling me they were on the way and and the driver would call me. It is now 7:54 and I have heard from no one! What are the odds? read more

We have been AAA members for a few years, just received a letter in the mail discontinuing our membership. I was alarmed as I had no reason why this would occur. I called, spoke with a female that answered the phone, to shorten the message I am leaving. I was told that there is no reason other than Behavioral, or Disproportionate (believe 2nd is correct). I was in shock, I did add is this what occurs to over the age of 60, single Mom's. The female said it did not have to do with age, and I could go look the information up concerning my issue in there handbook. I asked if she could tell me what occurred, or took place, as there has never been anything Behavioral, or Disproportionate from our family. The female could not answer. I asked, how is my information specific to me in this situation in your handbook. I was told it was in there handbook. I asked to speak with someone else, a supervisor as we have done nothing wrong, and make our payments on time. I also asked to speak with Jim Ejupi VP on the letter that was sent to us. I was told there is no one else to speak with, these decisions have been made. So, let me add, this is AAA way of doing less for there customers. I have a child that was traveling back & forth from school, needed the service a few times. Is this not why we have the service in the first place. We all know what AAA is doing, if you used the service, and are not a customer who is creating them profit they are closing your account. Shame on you AAA for letting down those customers that you should be valuable to your company. I will pass this on to everyone I know, one customer can affect 10,000 plus customers. Thank you to Yelp for letting us have a platform to voice dis justice to hard working people. Let me add one more thing, in my opinion AAA wants to take the money, and give as little service back to its customers, even if promised in the signing up process.
