Nicely kept and managed. The sites are almost level and more so than most campgrounds. They have WI-FI and are reasonably priced. Friendly owner/ manager. Definitely would recommend.

Nice quiet RV type campground with a few tent sites. Most day camping is along the river which makes for a serene camping experience. Very nice welcome and lots of information provided about local activities and points of interest. Great community bonfire on Saturday night. Friendly campers and very clean facilities. Only hick is the bathrooms need upgrading as they lack some privacy and there is no heat so if it is fall or early spring it feels cold coming out of the shower. We plan to be back!

This place is truly one if the nicest, well kept campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Our site, #12, is plenty long enough for our 31 ft fifth wheel and F250. It has a fire ring and picnic table and is right on the river with plenty of shade. I didn't see any bad sites. It's a small, peaceful campground located on the Moose River. The river itself is gorgeous. It is not deep and I am told that there are fish in there if you are into fishing. We are enjoying watching the birds, the ducks and a cute family of mink playing in the evenings. The campground is geared towards adults, which my husband and I appreciate. (No pool, no play area= no noise! Hallelujah!) The campground is right on hwy 2 and easy in, easy out. The owners, Mary and Gary are great people, friendly and helpful! The little store has a nice selection of items and there is always coffee and tea available and sometimes bagels or cookies or donuts. Fantastic front porch where you can sit and visit with the owners, other campers and their pups and yes, even the resident cats! Mary is a fellow quilter/sew crafter and I enjoyed chatting about quilts and sewing machines with her. When you check in, they have a bag for you that contains a wealth of information about the area and includes information on a site and taste tour called the Belly Ache Tour with a map and directions. They really put a lot of thought into ways to help their guests enjoy Vermont. We will definitely be coming back. The campground has a small laundromat, 2 washers and 2 dryers. They work very well and are very reasonable in price.

We loved this campground! We were in site 12 next to the river, it was fair size. Some of the other sites were spacious. The bathrooms were very clean. The owners were very nice and had put together a pamphlet of very useful information. They also had a pamphlet called The Belly Ache Tour. It took you to a lot of interesting places. We will definitely be coming back.

We camped right at the rivers edge.

This park is small and lovely. We camped right on the river, beautiful spot and enjoyed just listening to the river. The owners were very nice and accommodating. When we arrived they give us a bag full of goodies including a list of sites to see and the directions to get there. I haven't seen that in any other campground on two trips across United States. I would definitely recommend this park and hope to come back again sometime.

Check-in at the store where you will find souveniers, cold beverages, firewood, toys, pet supplies…read moreand some food items. Car and RV parking is in front of the building. A gate code is needed to access the campground. We rented a cabin here. There are four. Two of them are 'deluxe' and have indoor cook tops. The others do not allow indoor cooking and have grills outside. The kitchen was very well kitted with everything you could need. The Deluxe cabin we rented was decorated in a cabin style with bear and moose motif items. A table for two in the kitchen, a couch for two or three and a nice rocker. A small desk is in the corner of the livingroom with a kitchen chair for seating. Hooks for coats and a place for shoes by the door. The gas fireplace is shut off in the summer because the pilot heats up the cabin. They are on from Septemer 1st. The bedroom has a queen bed, (linens and blankets provided) full dresser, bedside tables, another kitchen chair (a total of four in the cabin) and luggage rack. Two narrow closets included hangers, extra pillows and towels for the pool or hot tub. Three quarter bath was well maintained. Two bath towels and one hand towel. Hand soap on vanity. Hair dryer and extra TP under sink. Shelves for toiletries. Clothes hook on back of door. Two seats and a table are on the front porch. Our parking space was in front of the porch. A picnic table and firepit are to the right of the porch, at the end of the parking space. Our porch faced the gravel road into the campground. The campground is tiered from the road down to the river with camper spots on each tier. No spots are directly on the river. A field designated as a dog exercise area is next to the river, then a small, rocky beach to the river. The road noise is heard throughout the campground, even at the brook where the river babbles over the stones, which is very pleasant. The onsite store rents tubes for riding the river. A path to the left of the dog area ends where you can put the tube in the water, ride it to the end of the beach and repeat the process. Laundry, public bathrooms and shower bathrooms are in a newer, climate controlled building near the playground. A pass code is needed to enter. Two pools and a hot tub are near the office/store. Mini-golf is behind the store. Dump station on the way out near the dumpsters. Gravel roads are maintained. Some site have full hook-up, fire pit and picnic table. Very pet friendly.

They email you when you have a package arrive in the office. The office has a variety of beverages and other small things you might need including ice. Patrick although he was extremely busy and worked, I think seven days a week made time to stop and chitchat with everybody.
