When my parents came to visit recently, we stopped by Emerhoff's Footwear to get me a new pair of sneakers (mine had holes in the heels) and also to find a solid pair of shoes for my upcoming internship. The service was amazing--from the wide selection and quality brands to the genuinely helpful staff. I was able to try on a bunch of different sneakers until I found the right pair. Then, when it came to the work shoes, they helped me test out insoles and different fits until we found something that worked perfectly. A special shoutout to Chloe--she went above and beyond. They ordered the work shoes in for me, and instead of making me pay a ridiculous shipping fee to get them to my dorm, Chloe personally delivered them. Amazing service and knowledge of their customer base, I am proud to say that they value quality and service in high regard. Huge thanks to both Chloe and the store owner for the top-notch service, not just during the purchase, but all the way through until the shoes were in my hands. I HIGHLY recommend Emerhoff's if you're in Ames or anywhere nearby. You won't be disappointed.

Staff members Amanda and Michael were so impressive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I love their huge selection of shoes, and their pricing is superb. This was the second bridal shop I had tried to find a wedding dress (something I wasn't even convinced I really wanted). That was until I met Katie in a last minute Saturday morning try on appointment with my future mother-in-law in attendance. She was very friendly, straight forward & made this visit effortless. The experience was comfortable and felt undemanding. What surprised me is; I got a dress that 100% loved on the hanger but was not what I thought I wanted AT ALL! However; when I put it on, I just absolutely loved how fun & unique it was! I'm glad Katie was so honest and had me try on different styles to rule some out. They have some amazing dresses and are definitely worth the time and effort to go through them. I ordered my dresses right before Thanksgiving for my wedding and was given an arrival estimate of 12 weeks. Perfect. More than enough time for altering. 12 weeks came. 12 weeks went. 13. 14. Ashley took a lot of her time to track down my dresses - sitting on a loading dock in California and then in Dallas TX - due to a shipping strike! Couldn't believe it. She was so apologetic and kept me in the loop on everything so I was never wondering what was going on or where my dresses were. She was absolutely on top of everything. I couldn't have asked for a better advocate for me and my bridal party! The dresses came in on time and looked gorgeous. Everybody loved their dresses and I was SO pleased.
