The overall school atmosphere is like something out of a fairytale. From pick up to drop off, we are greeted with smiling faces, kind students, friendly parents and an overall feeling of inclusion. Academically, we were impressed with the curriculum at the PK and K levels. In addition to his normal class schedule, our son has two special-subject areas each day; one being Coding (taught by the amazing Rachel Kaplan). All special areas are wonderful, but as I understand it, MFS is the only school in NJ to teach Coding (which is the future) at the PK and K levels. We are planning to start our younger son, age 2, into the PS program next year as he will be old enough to enroll (age 3) by September.

Over the last five years, I have been often asked to recommend Moorestown Friends School. Although…read moreI am told by regular academic students' parents that they are happy, we were very unahppy with the education our creative/musican son received. He came from a private school in Philadelphia where he graduated top of his class, and won Pennsylvania awards for musicianship and was head chorister at his professional church choir. He is also now an award winning pianist and composer. His creativity was saved at MFS by Ed Robertson and Rich Marcucci - just wonderful artists and musicians. Other than that no one else seemed to care about his level of musicianship. During his junior year we asked for specific help about applying to creative and performing arts schools. During College admissions night, the guidance counselors admitted to us they had no process in place for developing our creative students' porfolios. After checking with Westtown School, Friends Central, Friends Select and Germantown Friends, we realized that MFS was really lacking in their ability to help our creative children. After spending $16,000 a year on our son's high school education we were truly disappointed in MFS's lack of help for our creative child and also their lack of folow up after the college admissions night. They really had no idea how to treat college applications for creative students. They only seemed to are about Ivy League level students and had no interest in their creative students. We would truly like to know whether things have changed. If not, I will continue to recommend Moorestown High School or one of the Philadelphia Friends Schools if parents have a creative child and live in this area. Renee Jones

How many parents can say that? MSOE provides a unique, respectful, positive, and stress-free environment, where children can learn at their own pace. If your children need more help in a certain subject, they will get it here. If your children excel in a certain subject, they will be challenged to learn more. At the end of this past school year, we received the results of our children's standardized test scores and learned that they are functioning well above their individual grade levels. Who could ask for more? In addition to the academics, there is an emphasis on character development. The children learn conflict resolution, leadership, teamwork, and compassion. We are routinely told by coaches, other parents, and camp counselors, that our children are so polite and well-spoken. The teachers are highly qualified, caring, and receptive to parental involvement. Mr. Matt, the Head of the School, leads by example. Mr. Matt will inspire your child to love learning, be a leader, and make a positive impact in the world. This is the best Montessori School in South Jersey!!!

At Montessori Seeds of Education (MSOE), children learn to be self-reliant, responsible citizens. They are empowered to have transferable skills through sensory education, by means of self-correcting materials, as they construct knowledge and wisdom through experience in a prepared environment. They engage in physical tasks and regular communication, which educates the whole child. MSOE provides families with what they need for successful and fulfilling interpersonal relationships. MSOE is about transforming the present educational paradigm to empower learners. This is accomplished by creating opportunities for children to sow their own seeds and reap the lifetime benefits from the experience of an authentic Montessori education. Utilizing Dr. Maria Montessori's pedagogy, MSOE teaches universal and timeless lessons, while focusing on the whole child a

Unlike many daycares, MCS allows children a lot of flexibility to learn through play. MCS staff encourage a child's individual interests in addition to providing organized instruction and activities. MCS embraced my daughter when her special needs led three other daycares to not allow her to attend. MCS staff have a lot of experience working with special needs and my daughter has thrived there for now for three years. My daughter has made many friends and looks forward to going to MCS each day. In addition to their great care MCS is located on a small farm, which means they have a very large and open playground with lots of options for outside play year round. The farm also has several animals that the children can interact with (most recently baby goats in a small pen). Overall I can't think of a better place for children to learn and grow in their own individual ways.

Confused, it took me a minute to realize that I had such a great time at the carnival. My friend, her kid-nephew and I rode on the rides that made us laugh so hard we almost peed our pants. I admit, my standards were low when I sought out going but $20 for all rides (special for that night) and a BBQ on a stick ($3.50) made my night. As far as that latex hand-stamp, well that's just not coming off! Additionally, there are panzarottis, funnel cake, burgers, pizza and water ice. For kids there is face painting, games and sand art.
