My child had a positive experience with his teachers, and I was happy with the change I saw within him only after a few weeks. My issue with Future Scholars is not the teachers or program, but the owner of the center. I once over heard the owner complaining about a client's unpaid bill in the school's kitchen and it really made me rethink the center my child was attending. Outstanding bills should be paid, but the way he spoke about it really made my decision to leave clear. It really is such a shame, I would consider recommending this center; if it were being run by someone with more respect and real profesionalism.

Positive discipline, compassion and caring was always shown to my child and myself. He actually asked me this year (9years old) if he could go to their Summer Camp program over our local towns program. The staff greets him every day by name and seeing his favorite teacher from his younger days still brings a smile to his face. I'm sure everyone has their own experiences and the positive needs equal representation on review sites as well.

My child want to the school and during class, the kids were having a conversation about Nerf and cap guns. I got a call from the principal stating that she was going to call the local POLICE and report my child (5th grade) because he was involved in the conversation. She stated that another kid over heard the conversation and told his parent who called the school upset. I though that she was joking, but SURE enough, I received a call from the local POLICE department. Unreal. My child will NOT be attending next year.

If a parent complains about something or someone, then the word gets out and your child gets on their blacklist and may not be treated nice you know what I mean.
