Well, I've had 2 such occasions in the last few years, and I cannot say enough good about Proctor's Auto Body in Wilson. Listen Raleigh, and Rocky Mount too, do yourself a favor and drive or tow your car to Proctors. Terry and the guys (and their 4 legged customer service team) will take extremely good care of you. This last episode, I texted pics of the damage with my VIN and had a written estimate that was more than reasonable. The shop is easy to find right off 264 or 301. It is worth the drive (or the tow) to have Terry and the guys at Proctors fix your car good as new.

Got my daughter's windshield replaced there because that's where my insurance company referred me…read more They replaced it and kept her car for the day and when receiving the car back they had damaged a part that they had to remove. Mr Tracey reassured me that he would order a new part and replace it. Fast forward to now almost 2 months later the part isn't replaced and we have found tools left behind all in my daughters car. My phone calls have been ignored by him and whoever Jackie is that I got passed off on when I went up there to talk to someone in person. Very unprofessional and not satisfied at all.

My car, the first and probably only brand new car I'll ever have was vandalized as I ran into a…read morerestaurant to retrieve an order I had called in. As I was returning to my car, I could see it from a distance, someone had "keyed " scratch, the entire length of the driver's side of my vehicle. It was severe. Rule of thump: put water on a scratch on your auto finish, if the scratch disappears it can be buffed out. When I got home I ran the hose, wet the car, the scratch remained completely visible. As I'm new to Raleigh, and new to NC I didn't know who to call. I opened the Yelp app and contacted several repair shops based on reviews. They all responded promptly and gave a quote except one. The first one to respond didn't give me a quote, he set a time for the next day when he could come see it in person. The day Travis arrived a few minutes early and I was ready. He inspected the scratch and gave me a quote, best by several hundred $$ I was skeptical, I told Travis I was awaiting to hear from a couple more shops but I would let him know either way within a couple hours. I had a good feeling about Travis so even though his very much lower price gave me a "too good to be true" vibe, I needed my car fixed so I texted Travis. We set a time for two days later as I had to work around my schedule. Travis' two helpers arrived early, before Travis. They explained they would prep the car and could start immediately. I left them to get started as I had a project had had to attend. When I looked outside maybe 20 mins later Travis was there his truck unloaded, equipment set up. All three seemed very busy. What they had to do to get that scratch out was unreal. The scratch wasn't just to the metal, the metal was scratched as well. It was a lot of work many steps in the process and it took some time. As they neared completion of the project, one of the guys found me in my backyard and filled me in. I started towards my car, already close enough where the scratch was previously visible, I saw shiny pint. I continued to close the distance, scrutinizing with increased intensity. I was at the car, scanning the previously damaged area with my eyes. I saw no sign of any damage, no residual of the scratch whatsoever. My nightmare was over, Travis and his guys made my car look like brand new. I can once again drive my car with pride. I recommend Same Day Bumper and Grill all day every day and twice on Sunday Than you Travis !!

They would not talk to me unless I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, which was not the same day. I went back and got an estimate, which took at least 15 minutes. Then they told me that to install it, I'd have to come back A WEEK LATER! The truth is that the simply didn't want my business. It took longer to write up the estimate than to install the door handle. They literally told me that they would not have anyone available FOR 10 MINUTES until Tuesday of next week. I went yo White's and they installed it in less than 5 minutes! Hell will freeze over before I go back to Autobody of Wilson.
