The products that they carry aren't you normal name brand type of items. You won't find brands like DeWalt, Craftsman, Porter Cable, etc. The tools here are on average good, especially the hard sets that don't have moving parts. The electric and pneumatic items, it would behove a person to do a little research to see about quality before spending the money thinking they are saving money on a good deal. I did notice some company miter saws for less expensive than what is found at, say, Lowes or Home Depot, but the quality isn't as good, tho with some diligence, a good one could be had for a decent price. The static tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, etc, these from my experience are just as good as others and often carries the same lifetime warranties as the big name brands, so that's a win win. Staff is always helpful and friendly. They always have lots in stock. They used to have a wooden table of bins towards the back full of discounted items, today that table was missing. Overall it's a great store with some really friendly staff.

I had 3 trees to remove, we discussed pricing beforehand. $400 per tree…read more Problems started immediately as soon as he realized I'm remotely managing this, with a tenant in place. Dylan visited the property and decided one of the trees was too big and wanted to charge higher amount ($650). I agreed. He then set out to do absolutely whatever HE felt was convenient. He cut one tree down. "Trimmed" another tree. At this point he called me and said he's done with 2 trees, can I send in the money for finishing up two trees. This was a blatant lie. I did not ask for proof, because I didn't think disgusting liars like Dylan existed anymore. I sent him the money. He sent me photos of what he did afterwards, which showed two of three trees still standing. On asking why there are 2 trees still up, he mentioned he spoke to the tenant and decided to keep the tree up. This didn't make any sense. Nobody changes the agreement without discussing it, lies about it to the person paying and gets paid as though they did the full work. That's when he ended up "finishing" the other tree with minimal work done (of trimming) because he had enough with this. Mind you his communication with me was to say nothing about all of this until he got paid, then he said his life was in danger to cut trees. Like who the heck forced him to work on things he didn't want to? He then said he'll "make it right" by showing up on Monday to fix it. Would you guess what happened next? He didn't show up and decided to run away with the money. Dishonest cheats like this shouldn't exist. I'm now looking at legal options to deal with the mess. Please find someone more honest to work with.

The house is pre-wired for Gas and Electric, but I needed it to be converted to Electric only. The job entailed: 1. Running 220V wires to certain parts of the house for Stove Rage, Furnace and Water heaters2. Get electricity to the buildingIn addition, for the already pre-run 110V outlets, it needed to: 1. Install all the outlet covers and light switches. 2. Install pre-purchased lights and hang 8 fansMr. Palmer quoted the exorbitant amount of $15,000.00. I accepted this quote because I was in a desperate situation. I had about 2 months to complete the building, or the bank will shut down funding and subsequently repossess. Mr. Palmer was fully aware of this because I requested that he co-signs my bank draws, which is the bank requirement. I chose Mr. Palmer because he stated that the job will take him 3 weeks. I figured that since he will be the contractor on site the "longest" he will at least be an extra set of eyes. MR Palmer requested a down payment of $5000 which I gave. He subsequently kept asking for more money and more money and stopped showing up. He failed the City inspection twice. He never ran any 220V wires. He hung up the fans and the lights I bought. The hanging lights were never measured. He also installed some of the light switch covers and some of the outlet covers. Every task he accomplished was a handy-man task based on the 110V wiring that had already been done. When I ask him to come, in he had a series of stories, including, "The weather is too hot" and "I have other jobs".I let Mr. Palmer go on Day 78 of us signing the contract. At this point, the bank funding had been shut down, I am renting generators for other contractors to accomplish tasks, and the bank is getting ready for foreclose. I had paid Mr. Palmer 12,212.08, I have no electricity, no conversion had been attempted, and my Circuit breaker panel is not up to code to pass City Inspection. I am currently in court with him to recover some of my money. He can keep enough to hang 8 fans because that was the only thing he completed (not including breaking one light cover) I am suing him for $9576.00 which is the amount another electrical company charged to do everything else. Basically if you read all this and still choose to hire him, never give him more than the deposit discussed. If he wiggles more money out of you oh, he will abandon the job and run.
