After my parents retired and moved out of the country, I took over the family policy and was shocked to find several unnecessary add-ons, including a life insurance policy that had been purchased for me when I was 19. We ended up canceling that policy a couple years ago, but it was frustrating to realize it had been sold to us in the first place. Teresa comes across as very sales-driven, prioritizing upselling over genuinely helping clients understand their coverage. When I first got my driver's license, nothing was explained to me, and I had to figure everything out on my own. Now that I've reviewed the plan myself as an adult, I discovered I was paying almost double the market rate for coverage that didn't even fit my needs, it made no sense for my situation. The coverage was excessive, overpriced, and not customized in any meaningful way. It feels like this office takes advantage of long-time clients who trust them. Customer service is poor, and getting clear explanations is nearly impossible. Trying to reach them has been a pain to the point I've just gone straight to Farmers customer service to cancel my policy with them. Please do your research and get quotes from competitors before signing with Farmers through this agent.

They will nag, if needed for signatures when necessary. Merv is also backed up by his son, who is taking over the business, so you're covered for a long time. I cannot honestly comment about how much they charge for their services as I have not shopped around for tax services for a long time.

We've contacted Dawood about it and he said we never gave him the papers for it (we did as I still have all copies of documents). We then asked what should we do and if he can contact them on our behalf to either lower the amount owed or give us options. It's been months and crickets. He's been very unprofessional about this whole ordeal. We pay for his services but the services have been half-assed and his work has definitely gone down-hill. We will definitely no longer use him and I suggest you don't either. Or if you do, definitely go through your taxes with a fine tooth comb. Because I can almost guarantee you there are mistakes. And those mistakes might cost you.

My wife and I had an introductory meeting in his office years ago and have been with him ever since. His daughter Liz is an instrumental participant in the practice as well. We have been very pleased since Day 1. After the initial visit, the majority of our interactions have been on the phone. Their checklists and other tools are updated and provided each year before tax season begins, and are very helpful. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of their work is great. Additionally, we've had to pay estimated taxes and Tom prepares the quarterly submission paperwork on our behalf and sends it with our tax return. He also electronically submits our returns. When I have dropped by the office, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. We have complete confidence in Tom and his Team. As such, when we relocated to Colorado in late November 2018, we asked whether they could continue to support us with our new location, and the answer was yes!
