Yelp referred me to A to Z Tax Services. Their offices is located in the busy Pelton Center. (Don't expect to find parking in the small enclosed lot, but there's plenty of parking in the shopping plaza across the street.) During my first appointment, I met with a tax preparer, Xue. She seemed very knowledgeable and offered me advice for my return. I was happy to drop off all my documents and let them handle everything. I corresponded with Chita, the owner/accountant, over email for more advice. You honestly won't get that kind of patience and wise advice in many other places. I've learned so much I feel like I should be taking notes for future reference. I had a second appointment to finalize and file. If you're a returning client, your return can be prepared within an hour. Chita will find all the deductibles applicable to you. She even advised me of future deductibles. She's eager to answer any and all questions.I feel like this is going above and beyond her duties. I highly recommend their services. They also work on payroll for businesses and helping new business owners set up licensing and other required documents year round. They've been in the neighborhood for 6 years.

I arrived on time, but I was greeted by a young man named James, who I believe was an assistant. He informed me that Huey was still out to lunch. Unfortunately, his extended lunch was more important than attending a scheduled meeting with a new client. James was very helpful and professional in assisting me with the intake of my tax documents. He took my information, and told me that I would receive an email notifying me of any additional documents needed. I went home and waited for the email. After about a day, I called the office. It went straight to voicemail, and I left a message asking for the email I was told I'd receive. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any email, so a couple days later I called again, got the voicemail, and left another message asking for a follow-up. I've received zero communication back. Disappointingly, this was a total waste of time for me, and despite the positive reviews I read on the Yelp.com page for this business, I was totally ghosted by them after investing my time in trying to become a new client of theirs. Unless you enjoy wasting time and being ghosted, I do not recommend this business to any new clients. Update: About a week after writing this review, the owner of the company contacted me. They admitted to everything I wrote. Their excuse for Huey's extended lunch was that he had a stroke, and their excuse for not returning my calls was that they were having a new carpet installed. They then tried to bribe me into deleting my review by offering to do my next year's taxes free of charge. Attached is a screenshot of the text offering the bribe. Trying to bribe a client to pull an accurate review is a dishonest and shady business practice. All the more reason to avoid this place.
