Hello, Today, while…read moreat the Decorah Walmart, I witnessed an employee dumping trash into a larger bin without changing the liners (which were nasty) and taking items out of the trash to reuse (gross)! At one point, another staffer had to point out that a spray bottle this person pulled out of the trash was broken. Does cleanliness not matter? I quit using the self checks outs because they were regularly dirty, and staff pulled bags / hangers out of the trash to reuse and the frequent attitudes of staff. I will no longer patronize this store and will be talking to my husband about alternatives. Cleanliness needs to be a priority epically with the covid-19 and new fungus virus. P.S. management who won't help, short tempered stockers do not help. This Walmart is a sinking ship just like the defective products they sneak on their shelves to try and sell.

Now that is refreshing for a change. The only downfall is that this one has a McDonalds instead of Subway. The produce dept. which is of much interest to me is very large and well equipped as is the rest of the grocery area. If you can't find what you want then it doesn't exist. Downfall is the waiting line at the checkouts. They have 13 checkout stands which are not in operation.

They do not normally have them pre-made but that means they are made up fresh. The people working here are always friendly as is typically the case with small towns. They have a good variety of fresh produce and plenty of selection of other grocery items and household goods. Their staff is always doing their best to help you find whatever you are looking for, as long as they carry it. They are conveniently located close to downtown Boscobel. Having been in operation for many years now, Piggly Wiggly is definitely a great addition to the town, but I'm not saying anything that locals don't already know!

This is just a review for the pharmacy and the so called "empathetic pharmacist". A pharmacist here…read moretold me that my PTSD was not real. She also raised her voice about my medication to the point where other people on the chairs in line were staring at me. That's a HIPPA violation by the way and has been reported as such. Also, the woman made a joke of "you don't look like a soldier" when I brought up my PTSD. I have been in contact with Walmart corporate and they are appalled by the situation and sending people to this Walmart to evaluate the situation and/or fire them. I have never been so humiliated in my life and I'm glad corporate is taking it as seriously as they are. I highly recommend going to any other pharmacy in galena. Also, the pharmacist trying to tell me my doctor (who is triple board certified by the way) was wrong and she "knew better" about my medications is highly illegal and I find it very suspicious that Walmart hired pharmacists who so clearly do not follow the law. Pharmacists can lose their license for HIPPA violations like this but it's entirely on them. Shouldn't have gone into the field if you don't follow the law.

This one has HyVee's wonderful rotisserie chicken! And yes, I bought one and yes it was delicious They seem to do a fair amount of curbside pickup. We were talking about it during our lunch break, Which we took at HyVee, and we watched "Mary" pass by over and over shopping for the elderly who get pickup. From the things we heard her say to other employees, she shops for strangers the way she would shop for her own family, which is so wonderful to see. Keep up the good work, Decorah HyVee!
