The place was nowhere near busy and nothing seemed out of place, but the wait just seemed to get longer and longer. Finally we had to bring it up to the waitress who then brought out the food as though it had been waiting there. The food was barely warm. We had to ask the waitress to warm the food for us, which is an uncomfortable thing to do. The food came back only slightly warmer. This place may be very good at night, but in the morning they have a lot of work to do. Very unfortunate to have such service after having a good dinner the night before.

My friend ordered a chicken sandwich and pasta salad. The grilled cheese was ok nothing amazing and on the smaller side for fillings. The seasoned potato chips were not that great as I don't care for potato chips as a side however it makes it easier on the establishment if they want to limit the cooking of items. I tried the pasta salad and it was too sweet and not my style of pasta salad personally as I'd opt for savory forward flavors. We did not try their drinks though.

It appeared the dishes had been removed but no one wiped down the tables. Our unmasked and rather unfriendly server took our order. One of our party had the Bloody Betty, which she seemed to enjoy. I have to say the abrupt server and the lack of cleanliness/ Covid precautions makes this place a "no go" for me.

Our table had food crumbs on it. The server brought my cup out with her hand over the rim and touched it all over. The cook came out and plunked down our food but stuck his thumb in my fries. I didn't drink my water and ate around the touches fries. The server asked me what dipping sauce I wanted for my chicken, I asked for ranch, ranch was not served with it, nor did she ever come back. No ranch. We are lucky we got ketchup. The cook was nice enough to ask and bring us some. It takes a lot for me to be grossed out by a place. Most hole-in-the-walls have the best food. This one, did not. I was grossed out and mostly picked at my food. It's definitely a missed opportunity with that view. They could hang lights on the deck and make it all sorts of cool, but it simply wasn't.
