Great spot to check out while in the McGregor area. There are lots of goodies to take home or grab a drink or snack (grab and go sandwiches as well) while out on your adventures. I was interested in trying their boba milk tea drinks. It was around noon and I already had my fill of coffee so I opted for a fruity option - kiwi popping boba and mango jellies in almond milk. It was delicious. I'll have to remember for my next fruity drink that the jellies are preferable over popping bobas :) I love the traditional tapioca boba though with my normal milk tea. So many options for drinks though! The spritzers are popular right now and they have that option as well. Service was good. read more

When we are on the road we really enjoy checking out local everything... including local coffee joints... but "Spoonful" is much more than that. It's local... to be sure, but it's got a little of everything. It's also a deli of sorts... and it's got coolers and freezers full of local meats... shelves full of sundries from nearby and afar. Big variety of local beers. I was tempted by the peanut butter stout beer... but it was just 9AM. The coffee was good, solid. I had a 4 shot Breve... companion a 3 shot latte. Great service and good lattes. The little shop is cute. It is a very tiny space, so someone could feel very claustrophobic in there.

I love this store! They are doing a great job with public safety, with hand sanitizer at the front and a two person limit in the store. This route is very accommodating for so many different kinds of people and I really appreciated that. They have a great and interesting selection of local and homemade products, an AMAZING selection of brats and the coffee we got while we shopped was very good! I have to say the part I enjoyed the most was the woman who worked there. She wasn't the owner and I'm really bummed I forgot to ask for her name but she was so kind and personable, so easy to talk to and was just so great with the customers. This is THE place to stop in McGregor/Marquette. Whenever I come back here I will always stop in. They seem to have the only legit espresso drinks in the area (including prairie du chien). With a lovely selection of artisan, local, gourmet and REAL food options- they're doing things right. Also they have a brilliant idea to pre-make a ton of amazing homemade meals in their freezers to take with you and heat at home (or in your hotel room). We had a lovely homemade dinner in our hotel instead buying not-so-great restaurant food for double the price. I was in town for two days and stopped in 6 times!! The owner and staff were fun to talk to as well. Good job!!! I would suggest to the owners to emphasize their coffee bar in their business description- that's what made me check it out but the deli/beer/wine threw me off at first so I had really bad coffee my first morning in town at another cafe.
