And there is no drama - Bill tells you what he can and can't do (mostly can), marks up the clothing and discusses with the tailor. I ended up at Homer Reed where instead of turning me away as an impossible request, Bill went through the entire store with me and found a suit that fit pretty close. He then made a special request to their Tailor to put me at the front of the line so that my suit was ready to go Monday morning for the wake Monday night. He may just have been having an off day, but still I wasn't happy with the mistake. I called in to discuss the error and the associate who answered the phone tried to make the error right, but didn't have the authority. She was super polite and it was clear she wasn't going to let the error go until it was made right by me. She offered to escalate to her manager. Less than 5 minutes after that call I get a call from Rudi who went above and beyond to make things right. The clothes are fine, but it's getting the type of exceptional care that Rudi and her associate provided which make for repeat business. Definitely be shopping with Peter Millar again.
