Interesting how there isn't a review yet for this place…read more My family has been coming here for years, especially my parents. The Chinese food here is authentic Cantonese style. My parents like to order their steamed fish which isn't cheap but it is so good. The "sang choy bao" or lettuce wraps are really good, very flavorful, and there usually isn't enough of it to go around. I want at least 2 cups but usually, there is only 1 for each person. The thin fried noodles (vegetarian) -- "see yau wong chow meen" -- is stellar! Perfectly dry like it should be and flavor-packed. The only thing I didn't love was the crispy skin chicken. The skin wasn't really crispy. Each time I go home, this is one of those restaurants where we will go for at least one meal. It's good to know that it's remained consistent through the years.

Here's why: - Warm welcome from the charming and funny manager upon entry. - Were introduced to George the fish (we sat next to his tank). - Very friendly, smiling wait staff had nice chats with us whenever they brought something to the table. - Complimentary prawn crackers were served as a starter while we perused the menu. - They make the best salt and pepper tofu ever (speaking as someone who doesn't usually like tofu). - Delicious braised chicken with cashews and sizzling Mongolian beef. Best in town! - Nice atmosphere and full of happy diners having the best time!

Awesome place! As a family, we made a reservation for the 11 of us this past Saturday night to…read morecelebrate my grandmas 80th birthday. I really loved the decor inside, everything seemed authentic and looked very well put together. We did have a large round table which really didn't give much room around us but we appreciated the fact they accommodated our large group as best as they could. My dad and I ordered the pork spring rolls to begin, they were so good! Don't know what was so good and different about them but I could've eaten lots more. We all ordered our own mains with the intention of sharing between us all. I don't remember the exact name of my dish but it was #37 which was a lamb stir fry. I didn't even want to share it was that good, cooked and seasoned to perfection. I tried a few different curries that were at the table and can't say one bad thing about any of them. Our servers were quick and polite, although not fluent in English. We brought a cake for my grandma which she didn't know about, the waitress was nice enough to keep it in the kitchen for us and brought it out with the candle lit when we asked. Overall I enjoyed this experience as a first-timer, however, the plates that were brought out with our cake were not very clean. This really upset my dad, there was rice on 97% of the dessert plates. I didn't consider it a huge deal but it was a bit odd. They do charge $6 for corkage! BYO wine only. I am looking forward to the next time I get to go here!

We've always had to book and the centre where the actual restaurant is gets super busy at night, so it's tough to get a park. So book early... because if you don't book you just might be staring through the window or waiting a very long time. The prices here are on the expensive side with although if you have 4 or more people it's $30 for a banquet and they are very reasonable. Let's get this straight. You go to a Thai restaurant and you order the Pad Thai. The one here is magnificent. The ingredients finely chopped, good amounts of noodle and filling and the sauce compliments everything addictively, so you just want to eat more. It's probably a good thing that this dish always fills you up if you have it by itself and for $18.90 you'd really want it to. Also try the Pad Num Mun Hoi with beef (bamboo shoots, mushrooms and shallots) because it's delicately seasoned and very yummy with some coconut rice. This restaurant is pretty, it's got Thai ornaments all over the joint and the staff wear traditionaly Thai outfits to serve. It's a great taste to go on a first or second or third date.
