Rather than taking accountability for the conduct described, the owner attempted to dismiss the incident by characterizing the use of an unclean towel as a mere "misunderstanding." Such a response is deeply troubling and reflects a lack of transparency and responsibility. The issue was not a misunderstanding. The technician attempted to reuse a towel that had already been used on another customer during my sister's pedicure service. This was witnessed and confirmed by another customer in the salon. Only after being confronted did the technician stop disputing the matter and obtain a clean towel. The owner's attempt to minimize this conduct raises serious concerns regarding sanitation practices within the salon and whether similar incidents may have occurred previously without customers' knowledge. Equally concerning was the technician's conduct following the incident. While she attempted to adjust the water temperature after my sister notified the technician that the water was unbearably hot, she never apologized, or demonstrated any concern for my sister's comfort. Instead, she began scooping water from the pedicure basin with a bowl while my sister sat there visibly uncomfortable and distressed. At that point, my sister no longer felt safe or comfortable continuing the service because she had lost confidence in the technician's judgment, professionalism, and hygiene practices. What is most disappointing is the owner's response afterward. Rather than addressing the matter with empathy or accountability, the response came across as passive aggressive, dismissive, and condescending. Debated if I wanted to post a review but I need people to know my experience…read more TLDR: Gel-x tip fell less than a week from manicure. Unhygienic practices despite being nice employees. I got gel-x extension on saturday, 04/18/2026 and in the appointment I saw some red flags ‍ It seems that they were using used nail files both hand files and e-file bits on me. I appreciated that they sprayed some type of disinfectant when using cuticle nippers. Also using used clean up brushes basically did not use any disposable or sterilized instruments on me. (Except for my feet which they used a disposable pumice stone but again the nail clippers and cuticle nippers were not sterilized) I noticed that they didn't cure the tips properly because as far as I know you need to flash cure the tips for 60 seconds + full cure on the big lamp but the lady only flash cured for like 5-10 seconds I thought maybe it's a different product with different instructions? I thought the finished product was okay and I even paid 20% tip but less than a week later Wednesday, 04/23/2026 one of the tips broke... I don't think i'll go back to this establishment. Only thing is they're really nice and I get it they pamper their customers (even got a free diet coke) but it's not the most hygienic salon and I'd rather pay more for hygienic service than pay less for low quality and non hygienic service. Also I'd like to point out that the examples of the works they put here might have been stolen from the internet Price: $60 gel x set + $15 for catee polish Pedicure: I forgot if it was lemon or diamond something the total was around $118 but because of tip I paid around $148? Not worth it
