I have better things to do than write negative Yelp reviews but I have a bone to pick with this laundromat now. I will continue to come here though, because it is close to where I live and the hours are convenient. One of their washing machines "ate" one of my tops. Aka it got caught in the rubberized part on the side of the washer resulting in it being basically ripped to shreds. Not a fancy top by any means. Kind of old actually, only worth about $8 maybe. I told the kind employee who happened to be new and she took down my name and number and informed me that the owner would be in touch with me regarding it. Cool, no big deal. I came in today (a few weeks later) to do laundry. I had not heard anything back from the manager so I asked asked the woman on duty about it. It was the same employee from last time and by the way she was explaining what had happened I could tell the store manager didn't give a flying f**k about their machine ruining my property. I also took notice of their new signage stating "NO REFUNDS", which had certainly been updated since my last visit. I guess the plethora of "no refunds" plaques already plastered all over the walls weren't enough to convey their selfish frugality. Come here for the convenient hours but do not come thinking you will be treated fairly. I don't care about the shirt but I care about the principal. this place is nasty not a good place to go to wash your clothes . I decided to come here because they stay open till 10 but I wish I would of went to my usual place because the place smells terrible the washer machines dont work or the slots where you put the laundry soap has never been cleaned and there isn't a person to help you if you run into a problem. I washed my clothes in a front loader when I got my clothes out the washer machine it didn't agitate and My clothes looked worse they were when I brought them in . I don't even give them one star. it's expensive to wash n dry here it's so gross . It's a complete dump now it used to be okay. I will never come back !!!! read more

Homeless people chilling with no laundry. Cant sit down anywhere, and it smells like shit. Cockroaches running around. No attendant and bathrooms locked for customers BECAUSE of the homeless junkies. Just moved to Westbrook. I called recently regarding a comforter and they were incredibly accommodating. Dropped off a very dirty comforter for cleaning and they had it ready for me the next day. Some have been known to call me a laundromat connoisseur. Of all of the household chores, doing laundry is my favorite. And rather than run up and down the stairs all day shuttling load after load, I'd much rather haul everything to a facility and get it done in under two hours. With the relaxing white noise of the dryers as my soundtrack, I can relax, flip through a magazine or read a book, eat a tiny bag of Cheetos, or socialize with one of the other patrons. It's a special brand of bliss for me. Of all of the laundromats in the Portland area, Moonlight is my favorite. It's always clean, the machines are always working, there is an excellent washer-to-dryer ratio, and the staff is available and helpful. And, if you want to kill time while your load is washing, you can get a tan. That's a brilliant idea if you ask me. read more

We ended up doing laundry here because our usual spot is closed on basically every and any holiday you can imagine-this one in particular being on New Year's Day. The machines were a little pricey compared to what we were used to, but we liked the fact that we could just swipe a debit card rather than needing quarters. My biggest upset was that we put our laundry into the largest dryer for an hour, and I was told that was MORE than enough and I was actually wasting money doing so. When we got home, we noticed some of our heavier items (sweaters, sweatpants, etc.) were still pretty wet and we had to hang them up. i feel like an hour is more than long enough for drying, especially considering the higher quality machines you would expect at a laundromat. We would come back due to the more convenient hours, but wouldn't go out of our way to come here. I should mention that the facility was clean and the staff was friendly-but the overall package just wasn't' that attractive due to our end result with wet clothing. read more

On every occasion I have been to this laundry mat for 'wash, dry, fold' the employee does not only sigh and roll her eyes to greet me, but then continues to tell me she won't get it done in a timely manner. Today I confronted her about her attitude, not only did she dismiss it with a "haven't you ever been overwhelmed?" But then refused to let me know when her manager was going to be in. Ironically I have spoken to the manager about this woman's attitude before and when I brought this to the employees attention she replied with "well, looks like I'm still here." I find it very disappointing that I come to this place for convenience, expecting good customer service and ALWAYS feel uncomfortable. read more

The place is clean. That's why they get one star. The woman that works there is extremely rude. She had attitude from the getgo and she actually yelled and swore at me when the cart accidentally hit the drier by accident. I said sorry, but she just said with attitude, "You scared me!" I have shared in the rolling of the eyes and something muttered under the breath when I walk in the door. The last time I was there I got the now standard greeting. I mentioned they had been closed a few days before and was about to say I was concerned they had to shut down because of Covid. She interrupted me and told me that it snowed that day and it wasn't safe for employees to get to work. She said, and I quote " If people don't like it they can do their laundry themselves" I have other examples of outright rudeness, but to keep it short I have been a occasional customer for years and have no intention of going back anytime soon. read more

I just recently started going tanning at this place and the first time me and my friend walked in to use the tanning booth the old lady was giving us attitude and being very rude looking at us like we're not supposed to be there. Two or three days later I made an appointment at 11o'clock to go tanning and I was a few minutes late. I walked in to go tanning and she told me that I had to leave because I was late and I was not allowed to go just being very rude and raising her voice. Then I asked her when her next appointment was and she was asking me why that mattered so I asked again and she said 1 o'clock. so I was confused on why I cant go tanning at 11:10 a few minutes late if your next appointment is at 1o'clock. Also like a day before this I was supposed to go but I called them saying that I needed to schedule a different appointment and then when I told her I had to schedule a different time she was on the phone saying Jesus Christ because she was mad that I changed my appointment. Mind you I'm almost 18 I'm not even an adult. She was just very rude and angry and I have no idea why but that's no way you should treat your customers that is giving you service. read more

This is the WORST place to send out ANY cloths for dry cleaning!!! They tell you that it will be back within a couple days and that they will call you; NO call was returned!! Also NO CLOTHING!!! I am going on 2 WEEKS NOW and they cannot find my dry-cleaning!!! This is unacceptable!! All they say when you call is "We will call you back!" Which is a load of Crap!!!
