4 stars for a quick boba stop. We ordered on Door dash and when we arrived it was ready. They offer other items on the menu too if you don't want caffeine or need a snack. The tea was good, and they followed my ask for light ice. I hate when they stack so much ice in your drink that you don't get any tea. The boba was very sweet and chewy, I liked the boba over other shops. Staff was friendly and it was a perfect quick stop with easy parking.

OK you know how I am about the bathroom situation and oh boy this one was bad. Look, I wouldn't want to clean stranger-used bathrooms either but when you work on a restaurant it's part of the gig. It just is. And a filthy bathroom tells you a lot about what else isn't being done. But, by the time I discovered this we'd already ordered so we were stuck. The seating is odd and sparse. They no longer have a lot of items that other reviews here have raved about (including several entrees and the boba & ice cream waffle bowls). Our orders came out in carry out containers which had the words "Dine On" written on the bag so that was weird. And the flimsy little plastic forks were annoying. The food was fine but honestly I had a hard time eating after seeing the ladies room. The boba was just ok. I did think the egg roll on my bun was pretty good. For me there are so many fabulous Asian restaurants in the area that I would not go back. And I can't in good conscience send friends there based on the sanitary concerns. Sorry, 2 stars.

    Classic Thai tea with boba

This is the first time in about a month I haven't been super disappointed in a Thai tea. Moonlight boba is in a small plaza and it's incredibly hard to find parking. I walked in and ordered right away. It was 6.75 for a classic Thai tea with boba. While I was waiting I used the restroom, it could use a good cleaning. By the time I finished and washed my hand my Thai tea was ready. The boba is firm and sweet, they are actually the perfect consistency and sweetness. The Thai tea was much more chocolate forward than others I have had but I really enjoyed it. 10/10 would drink a Thai tea with boba anytime I'm in the area from here.

It could be from new management since the last visit. The menu changed and now includes Pho. Service is great, the food prices are reasonably priced.

There is an Asian food district in Pinellas Park, & that drew us to the Moonlight Boba shop. Our goal was to get Vietnamese Coffee with Boba beads. Our drinks were spot on perfect & tasty. Despite the outside appearance being plain & almost uninviting, the inside of the shop was super clean & comfortable. Don't let the outside look scare you away, lol. One of the best parts of our time here was a visit by the owner, Sid. She was full of awesome personality & a delight to converse with. She spent a lot of time visiting with us, which really impressed us. All in all this place was 5 stars all the way.

Unassuming exterior with a pleasantly cute store inside. Plenty of seating and sunlight! And fast service as well! Got a house milk tea boba and it was pretty good, however the flavors are very very subtle. If you're used to a stronger tea flavor, I'd recommend asking for something else. Otherwise, the boba itself was perfectly chewy!

Good tea - good boba - good clean seating ! Fast /friendly service. Accurate ordering- prompt. My 1st time . 5 stars solid for everything. I'll definitely come back later to try their food & other drinks. All my drink orders were made perfectly and not overly sweetened.

Friendly service and great boba. The strawberry milk slush was delicious and don't sleep on the lychee popping boba - so flavorful. Not the biggest space but it was clean and there are seating options.

A friend introduced me to this amazing boba place and it has become a top favorite of mine! They sell a bunch of flavors, much more than the few standard taro, milk tea, etc. that others might sell. One of my personal favorites is honeydew and their version tastes absolutely incredible! They also sell all kinds of food. I always get the bánh mì, there isn't any banh mi places near me back home so I always jump at the chance to get some here. I've tried the grilled pork and the fried egg, naturally they both taste great. I've also had the waffle ice cream which was equally delicious! The waffle was soft and fluffy, paired well with the ice cream and all the toppings. Service was fast and friendly. The place has a chill vibe and I've seen quite a few people come here to study. Definitely a good place to grab lunch with a friend!

    1. Banh Trang Tron wasn't good...too much rice paper and not enough of everything else.

We need more Vietnamese snack shops like this in south Florida. The last time I had Banh Mi Bo Ne was in Vietnam and this place just brought back some memories. The bread is outstanding and the flavor of the sauce with the beef and eggs is out of this world. Hubby got the grilled pork Banh mi and said it's one of the best ones he's had in a while. I did come specifically for the Banh Trang tron but turned out to be the least favorite thing we ate. Rice paper was plenty but was lacking in everything else. The texture of the whole dish was just chewy and lacking the dimension that makes this snack so amazing. I wouldn't get this again here but definitely want to try some of their other goodies because everything else was great. Mom had the bo luc lac which, as picky of an eater as she is, really enjoyed it. I would make the 3.5 hr drive just to come for the Banh mi bo ne again. We of course got boba's and they were cooked perfectly and was a delight in our drinks.

Cotton candy ice cream on a waffle cone

Seeking some dessert for my daughter and found Moonlight Boba. The place is somewhat small but comfortable. She ordered cotton candy ice cream on a waffle with toppings. She loved it. The boba menu had some unique options. My husband got a virgin mojito and I got a white grape milk tea. The flavors for both were underwhelming but it sounded good on the menu. The parking lot is small and there's a supermarket they share it with.

My favorite place for Boba! The mango smoothie with honey boba is my favorite, very smooth & delicious. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who has never tried Boba because they have many options, and you can sample the boba to decide what you like!

Why 5 stars? Because I want Moonlight Boba in my life often. --- --- --- I recently sent my wife the Moonlight Boba Yelp listing because her office is not too terribly far away and she loves boba. The reviews are pretty amazing, but I'm not in Pinellas Park very often, so I figured she'd be able to enjoy it before I would. Fortunately, we actually happened to be in the area, so we stopped by and I'm completely in love after one visit. At first, my wife just had me run inside and order a taro boba for her. I planned on grabbing a couple drinks to go and heading home, but I saw the waffle ice cream concoctions on the menu and thought that it would be much better to eat-in. Every waffle looked amazing, but the "Rainbow In My Hand" with cotton candy ice cream, gummies and mochi's really caught my eye. The saying "explosion of flavor" is cliche, but I don't know any other more accurate way to describe this. You got creamy, sour, sweet, mushy, hard and dense in every bite. It's quite a lot for your taste buds to process, but I liked it. With that being said, I'd opt for something like the Cookielicious or the Snow White next time, just for a bit more continuity. Also, my coconut boba smoothie and her taro milk tea were both top notch. But then as we were leaving, my wife pointed out a sign off to the side that showed ice cream boba's. And I have to tell you, outside of a sign that said, "Brett, you've won a new car," I don't know if I could have been happier to see that particular set of information. I'd recently been introduced to ice cream boba's in San Francisco and fell head over heels in love. I was told that they only recently made their way to the United States and were super hard to find. I knew that probably meant I wouldn't find them in Tampa Bay until about 2024, when they'd be old news in SF. So to find them about 3 weeks later in Pinellas Park, I was ecstatic. I'd already had a small dessert before arriving at Moonlight Boba + ordered a boba smoothie and an ice cream waffle here. I wanted to fully enjoy this ice cream boba, so we hopped in the car, drove about 40 minutes home to Tampa, froze them and ate them the next day. They were still just as unbelievable as I remembered, despite nearly melting away in the car the day before. Do yourself the greatest favor and go to Moonlight Boba for many things, but especially for the ice cream boba's before they sell out! As I said, we aren't in Pinellas Park often, but if timing/circumstances work out, I know exactly where I'm coming for my sweet fix.

Man oh man, what a hard review to write here…read more Obviously I came for the name, what a fun and funny name. My family and our friends who were in town from England. We HAD to go so they could tell everyone at home. We got there and it was so silent in the dining room. Silent like a library.... My friends young children all of a sudden, by comparison to the vacuum of noise, sounded like steam trains blaring through intersections nonstop. We should by the reception counter for about 5 minutes before one of the staff finally welcomed us and told us where to sit. 3 other staff members had seen us and were visibly NOT making eye contact. Now, we are sat and going over the menu. About 6 minutes later, our waiter had come to ask if he could borrow one of our 5 menus for a new customer, explaining they don't have many menus. (Well, sure, no problem, we will share.) **weird though** *The waiter is on something. His mannerisms are weird, maybe he's just high, but he did some weird things with his foot and he sounded stoned. * Ok, he's back to take our order. Honestly he is nice as can be and patient. My family ordered both types of spring rolls, a dry vermicelli noodle, a pork, rice, egg dish and a #44 beef pho. He explained in great detail, a soursop beverage that my son wanted to try. It gets fun here. In a few spots in the restaurant, they advertise buttons/pins and shirts you can buy. How fun and funny to have a in that says "I survived Bich Nga". The signs say to pick which number of button you want and tell the waiter, so I tell him I'd like the number 1. Well. They don't sell them there. He says to order off of their Etsy or their social media. What a big bummer. The name is too funny to not have this for sale right there. My friend was especially bummed to not have one to bring home to England. Oh well I guess... they're missing out on this awesome way to make some extra money. Next he took my friends family's order, a pork and egg dish, a duck soup and a chicken noodle soup for their young kids. The food came out as it was done so it left our meals a little staggered but that's ok with me. Our spring rolls were super good, the dry vermicelli was good but a bit unexciting, it came with a couple sauces that were fantastic. The pork, egg, rice dish was phenomenal, seriously soooo good. Then he brought out my friends family's food. He came over about 10 minutes later to check on us and I told him we were still missing our pho. He was shocked. Went away for another 10 minutes and came back and checked on us. We were pretty much done by now. I told him we never got our pho but to go ahead and take it off the check. He was shocked and said "no, no" he came back with the duck soup that our friend had ordered and told us that they accidentally gave our soup to our friend and here is his soup.....(?) I don't want duck soup. My friend was cracking up as her husband had been commenting the whole meal about how he did not like his soup(my pho). He was full so handed a gently consumed bowl of beef pho towards our side. We tried it and it really needed our personal touch but as we were full now, I don't feel I can honestly review the pho. It was bland as it sat. So, duck soup, we had to try it as we were paying for it. It was good. Very oily as duck is, but tasty. The duck itself was not my favorite but the broth was very flavorful. Ok, another 20 minutes has gone by and we don't have a check. The library patrons are growing more and more annoyed with the freight train of children who are bored off their butts now. My friend and I take the kids out of there to freely make noise in the parking lot. On our way out, we walk past the "cashier" who again, AVOIDS EYE CONTACT. ???? We were so excited to be out of there. The whole vibe is off. The food is great. If you're looking for a perplexing experience that comes free with good food, I recommend you try this place. If you're looking for good food, great staff and a great ambiance, save yourself from coming here. I wanted to write a rave review but man was it just too awkward.
