I went here expected to be wowed because of all the hype around Moonga. It was good. But I think it wasn't standoutish that I would run back there.
The food was high quality. They had a diverse menu however it focused on sushi. We decided on the hand rolls because they were on special and we decided on them all - truffle real crab, truffle chop chop scallop, albacore, bbq eel, salmon, shrimp, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and tempura shrimp. We also did the carpacio, agadashi tofu, and the takoyaki.
The service was okay, but not what I expected for what I heard about. She came and generally topped off our water and to ask how we are liking things.
Ambiance was simple.
All the food was great except for the takoyaki which was doughy and could have used more octopus and the albacore which was really really fishy. Also the things that were labled truffle tasted like it wasn't added.
