The Treetop Playground is a standout feature. It's thoughtfully designed, modern, and great for a wide range of ages, with lots of interesting structures that keep kids engaged while still feeling safe and well laid out. It's clear a lot of care went into making it both fun and accessible. Another big plus is the abundance of benches throughout the park. There are plenty of spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery, whether you're watching kids play, taking a break from a walk, or just soaking in the surroundings. But- parking... Brentwood Parks And Recreation needs to align with the city to help with signage for parking. The lot is not large enough (maybe 60 spaces not positive) to have two directions. Even with it being clear to many that the natural flow was counterclockwise, a few felt the need to go against the natural flow. Then the streets around the park were full causing the streets capable of only allowing for a single lane of traffic. Even with a clear flow and literally no room for cars traveling in opposite directions... some attempted to push in, causing longer stand stills. It's like trying to go to the zoo/forest park on the weekends. But the park itself is fun!!! I do wish there was more shaded areas within the park itself. Parking needs to be fixed... there is no way an emergency vehicle could have gotten in to help if help was needed. That is a big concern.

It's not always the same display - different groups from September 11 are featured so there are a different number of flags. There are dog tags and photos on the flag poles. There are notes people have written. This year there were 7,650 flags. They're all in perfect lines. The flags this year honored every life lost in the War on Terror - the victims, the first responders of 9/11, and those that who have since succumbed to related illnesses or PTSD.
