I had fun looking around at all the different items - they specialize in natural and organic products and have something for everyone, whether you're vegan, gluten free, keto, etc. They stock lots of supplements, vitamins, health and beauty products, produce, snacks, even beer and wine. I was asked if I needed help finding anything, but at that point I was still just browsing. I did eventually need to ask for help finding the psyllium husk, and the employee led me right to the section I needed (of course I had walked right by it at least twice). The snack aisle of any grocery store is my favorite, so I had to check it out. I didn't end up buying anything there, but I did find a flavor of sparkling water that I'd been looking for - and it was on sale! The aisles are still a little tight, but it wasn't too crowded when I was there. I really love this locally owned store and always enjoy my visits!

Eager to show us everything and had answers to all of our questions. None of us left empty-handed. They have oils and balsamics to taste test and again, just wow! The bun itself was absolutely perfect; fluffy, bouncy, and delicious. The tart was beautiful but didn't have very much Ube flavor, it just tasted like a standard sugar tart. The items were a bit pricey ($5 for the tart, $9 for the bao) and just because of that I don't think I'd get them again. I'm glad I did try them as I haven't experienced any Filipino cuisine before.

Serious food safety issue--selling melted food which supposed to be stored at frozen temperature…read more I purchased two boxes of Kaiser Chicken Puff Pastries from the freezer section here yesterday (July 2nd), and it was a massive disappointment and a major health hazard. When I opened the boxes immediately after getting home, the pastries inside the sealed plastic liners were completely melted, ruined, and clumped together into raw dough lumps. Because this is a raw chicken product that requires an absolute cold chain, selling it completely thawed out of a display freezer is incredibly dangerous and poses a severe food poisoning risk. The store staff never mentioned a freezer breakdown or a cooling failure when I checked out. It seems like they are knowingly or carelessly keeping temperature-abused, compromised inventory on the shelves.
