It's a very easy merge back on to the major road though so it's not a big detour if you are already in Derrinallum. The cafe is welcoming and has almost industrial feel courtyard. No shading though so it is weather reliant. Staff was very friendly and the cafe appear to have loyal locals visiting regularly. Chai latte was served with Bonsoy and delicious. I spied some good selection of cakes and cookies in their cabinet, some appetising pies and sandwiches and a small lunch / breakfast menu. Didn't go through it so I don't know what's on the menu card but I saw a couple of lunching groups who seem to be enjoying the cafes offering . This is a cafe worth stopping at if you are on the drive by and I would definitely come back to try more things.

Today I chose the Big Breaky Burger. I find it hard not to give these a try everywhere. I noted on the menu some additional ingredients that you won't typically see. This burger was clearly of a higher class. When it arrived (which was surprisingly quick, I guess they are quiet today, but awesome) the presentation was pretty eye catching. I blurted our something stupid and incomprehensible to the waitress. What I meant to say was "that looks awesome" and "thank you". Let's cut to the juice. The coffee is great, smooth with no bitterness! The bacon is delicious, maybe a light smokey flavour and crisped to perfection. The burger is made on a fluffy brioche bun as it should be. The avocado was generous and had a slight lemon flavour like they cared for it delicately begins the scenes. I love this place after one visit! I'll be back, and I'll bring other people. Service was very friendly and most efficient. This is a lovely innovative sort of place. The type of place that tends to prove that free markets work by giving people what they want.
