As soon as they sell you the trees suddenly you get gaslit. "They are supposed to move like that inside supports. You could just pull the supports now." I have a tree that has been flopping and waving around inside the supports since it was planted. I have an identical tree planted next to it by the same team on the same day. It is rock solid. They just shrug because it wasn't their $700. Now they aren't returning my calls because it has been 9 months since planting. If i did remove supports it would collapse and break. So if you use them maybe get the extra insurance because they wont stand behind their products or their service. read more

We had such an incredible experience at Moon Valley Nursery in Peoria, and it's all thanks to Travis Simms. From the start, he was genuinely helpful, patient, and clearly knows his stuff. The selection of plants is amazing, and he took the time to walk us through everything and help us choose the perfect combination to create the tropical feel we were going for. What really stood out was the level of customer service--Travis made the whole process easy and actually enjoyable, which isn't always the case with landscaping projects. He listened to what we wanted and helped turn it into something even better than we envisioned. Highly recommend Moon Valley Nursery and definitely ask for Travis if you can. Truly one of the best customer service experiences we've had! read more

be careful with this company. moon valley nurseries might know what survives in phoenix but they certainly do not know central north, my residence in prescott. the salesmen will sell you the invoice but do your own (homework first) (stay local) if you're going to spend alot of money or you will realize you trusted a company that doesn't really care about the outcome. plus, not doing a professional job planting leaving original shipping stakes in the trunks. spending $30,000 losing $15,0000 because their lack of knowledge. (recommendation) watters garden center in prescott, will not disappoint you. read more

We have been to numerous Moon Valley Nurseries over the 27+ years we have lived in Arizona and love all the plants they carry. This year we decided to give our 1/2 acre backyard an update. Contacted Moon Valley Arrowhead/Peoria location as it was the closest to our house and scheduled a design consult. Travis was the designer they sent out and he was more than capable of fulfilling all our needs. We communicated that we wanted all the desert looking plants removed and replaced with whimsical, tropical, green, flowery plants and wanted our yard to resemble an English Garden. This was a tall ask as we live in the desert. We also communicated that we wanted hardy plants that would thrive as we were getting tired of replacing ones that only live a year or two then die. We walked our backyard with Travis and he educated us on placement of certain plants, example which plants would do best on West facing walls, as some would bake but other plants would love that hot wall. He told us what plants would do good in morning sun and which would do good in full shade. He basically gave us a very in depth education on plants and he came up with a design plan for our backyard that would fulfill all our needs and fit within our budget. The install was quick and easy. We absolutely love all the choices Travis picked for us and have gone back to the nursery a few times since then to add more plants to our yard. We have contacted Travis numerous times with questions on plant care and how much water each one needs. He always returns our calls and or makes time to answer any questions or concerns we may have. He is our GO TO PLANT EXPERT and we feel very fortunate that he was sent to our house to help give us our DREAM backyard! Highly recommend Travis at the Peoria location. read more

I can't say enough great things about Travis and Moon Valley Nurseries in Peoria! He was recommended to me by a friend, and I've worked with him extensively for over a year to transform my yard, and the results speak for themselves. In my backyard alone, I now have over 98 Indian Laurel Ficus Columns, 15 stone fruit and citrus trees, plus orchids and elms, while the front is full of vibrant small bushes that make my home stand out. What really sets Travis apart is his honesty and expertise. More than once, he talked me out of making poor planting choices or buying at the wrong time of year. Those decisions would have earned him a bigger commission, but instead, he put my long-term success first. Thanks to his guidance, I now have a lawn and landscape that are not only beautiful but also weather-resistant and easy to maintain. Friends and family are always impressed when they see the property, and I owe that to Travis's knowledge and the quality plants from Moon Valley. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about your landscape's success rather than just making a sale, ask for Travis you'll be glad you did! read more

This is by far the worst moon valley I've been to, we came here because the one by our house was temporarily closed. Backstory: we went to the one closer to our house and got a quote for a single tree and a package deal of 3 trees. One tree was 1,200$ and 3 trees was around 5,000$ (without delivery fee) we were happy with these prices and needed to stop by one last time to see another type of tree before we made a decision...had to come to this location since the other one was closed... THEY QUOTED US $3,600 for one tiny skimpy tree that was barely surviving and 10k!!!!!????? for a 25 year old ( or so they say) pistache tree of which was TINY and also very skimpy with barely any leaves. We were speechless. They came off extremely sales man-ish and not very helpful just trying to get as much money as they could out of us. Safe to say we will not be coming back and unfortunately coming to this one was a waste of time. read more

We visited Moon Valley Nursery this morning looking for a Christmas tree and, let me tell you, the quality of their trees is simply unmatched. I have genuinely never seen or smelled Christmas trees this amazing before. Christina helped us right when we walked in and it felt more like shopping around with a friend than anything. She explained the various tree prices and sizes to us, so that we could best navigate our way around all the beautiful trees. We had additional help from Ryan, he trimmed up the bottom of our tree so that it was even more perfect and loaded it into the bed of our truck for us. He was obviously super helpful, but also very nice and joked with us a bit. If you want a quality Christmas tree that feels like it's from the North Pole, this is the place. Thank you Christina and Ryan for helping us to have the best Christmas tree! read more

Jeff and his planting crew were outstanding . We love our new Hong Kong Orchid Tree! It was fairly priced and looks very healthy. We also purchased some roses, but the nursery crew accidentally loaded the incorrect roses, so Jeff contacted the nursery right away. The nursery will find our purchased roses and come back and plant as soon as possible. Jeff has excellent communication skills and he did a superb job with resolving the issue with the wrong roses being delivered. He is a great asset to your company read more

The experience starts with the company of the store working to get you in front of what is going to make you and your landscaping happy. Travis walked us through multiple options in the nursery while going over questions we had. Our top concerns were what can we plant that is pet safe and what tree we needed to remove as well. We didn't have an appointment we just literally liked how the front of house looked with all the colors and trees and metal artwork and went in. The place is very well maintained they have pros that can help balance landscapes and are extremely careful to note if certain plants can be a concern to curious pets. We bought an orchid tree. Contracted all needs for site prep with moon valley on Pinnacle Peak. All removal and site prep is done in-house. Follow up site visits to make sure your tree or other purchase is doing great are what we have next in the nursery care contract. On site soil maintenance products are available and recommended to jump-start growth as well. Any team member will start you on the right path from the store to your front or backyard. Thank you again to Travis for the continued followup communication through out the sales and planting projects. read more

Needed a tree in the backyard for some shade and balance. Headed to Moon Valley and was extremely pleased. Tommy assisted me with the choice after chatting and showing him some pics of the current yard. Decided on a Tipa tree and again, Tommy really helped with choosing one that fit the area and the budget. Logan and his crew arrived to install. All I had to do was mark the spot that I wanted it planted. He and his crew are amazing! Had no idea that a jackhammer was going to be needed, but he had one. The install took less than an hour and he was generous with letting me know what to expect and how to care for it. Highly recommend Moon Valley to everyone. read more

Excellent Service and Experience! Jonathan Short at the Moon Valley Nurseries Pinnacle Peak location was outstanding. He took the time to really understand our backyard layout and helped us select the right plants--especially for a challenging "hot wall" area that gets intense sun. His knowledge made all the difference, and he explained why certain plants would thrive there long-term. On top of that, Jonathan went above and beyond by helping load all the plants and pots into my truck. Great customer service, great attitude, and clearly someone who cares about doing things right. Highly recommend asking for Jonathan if you're shopping at this location. read more

Where do I begin. We spent $9,000 here and have been disappointed since the planting. They were supposed to be large plants grow up to our retaining wall within six months. They were small along with the cactus garden. Go to Home Depot! The plants weren't planted where my husband had put stakes. They were not in the line and equal distant apart so we had to call them out to replant some. Then they called to tell us they couldn't put in our $3000 tree because the stump wasn't ground far enough down. It was their company that did it. So we had to wait to have our tree put it! Now a year later and one month the Red Push tree they say is dead! The warranty is up imagine that by one month. We believe it was a compromise tree and they aren't willing to replace it after spending that much money and time as we also used their products. Don't do business here! read more
