This crew leader Jonathan.. called to let me know when they'd arrive.. and were right on time. All 5 guys worked like a well oiled machine. They planted a magnolia tree in my front yard, staked it, fertilized and watered it in about an hour. What had been a gaping hole when they arrived was left with a beautiful tree planted and staked. Very professional . All the soil was shoveled and raked to make a beautiful mound around the tree. I'm very impressed. They noticed a small cedar tree that had been partially uprooted by the recent tornado and in a few minutes had staked it so it can reroot and be a beautiful tree again. What a great nursery!!! Adam was amazing at helping us select our trees. They had such a great selection. When our trees were delivered two weeks later we were blown away by the planting team and especially the lead Jonathon! He.was.amazing!!! They planted 6 trees for us and 11 or so bushes. Everything about the planting experience was top notch. Jonathon suggested that our back yard would look great with a weeping Willow. He coordinated everything for us getting that as well. The Weeping Willow, along with a couple more smaller trees, were delivered two weeks later. We had a different planting crew and lead. They were good but nothing like Jonathon and his crew. This is the nicest nursery in Nashville! The owner Nick greeted us with such friendliness as he was grilling up lots of delicious food for his customers! Like a lot of neighbors, we lost evergreen trees and laurels with the bad freeze this year and are looking for mature plants. From the moment we drove in, we noticed some of the largest and most gorgeous mature trees grown in these wooden containers. Nick explained the process from their start in greenhouses through growth in these handmade wooden containers to delivery and planting at your site. We stopped by about 5 weeks ago to learn about which trees would meet our needs. Nick sat us down and gave us so much information that we ended up ordering our trees that day. Nick was very knowledgeable and quite pleasant, and easy to work with. Today, their Planting Crew Manager brought his crew of 3 very nice men who hand dug all the holes, slipped our trees in, made a well for water + mulch, then staked each tree. Zach Stevens was also real easy to talk to, helped us turn each tree just the way we wanted it, and made sure we were happy with the results. I recommend MVN near Franklin for your tree needs, like blocking your windows from the afternoon sun! We are very happy with all the workers. I have been waiting a long time for a nursery that has as much options as Moon Valley! Excellent looking trees at this location. Everything is so big and there is so much to choose from. I called into the store for a few oak trees for my yard. Unfortunately we had to get rid of a few when we first moved into our new home. I spoke with Kyler who told me all of the beautiful options they have. He had me come into the nursery and he showed me the most beautiful oak trees. I was even offered free planting. No other nursery around cause these options. Kyler was very professional when I was there looking at different options. The whole team was extremely hard-working and very nice. First, it turns out trees are expensive. We went to other nurseries and didn't find any trees that came close to the size and quality we found at MVN. Second, their services are excellent. John Krikorian came to our house and helped us decide where to plant and then we met at the nursery where he helped us decide what to plant. It was great to be able to choose our trees! Then Zach & Brandon brought a crew to plant everything. They were knowledgeable, friendly, careful with nearby plants, efficient with their time and left the yard clean. Best experience my wife and I have had yet buying trees or shrubs. Alex took her time to show us all the inventory we were interested in. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She explained the process perfectly, so we did not worry at all. After working with other Nurseries, we found Moon Valley to be the most professional and helpful. I am so happy with the service I received at Moon Valley in Franklin TN. I had a tight schedule and Kraig was able to help me make my schedule happen. Kraig is so knowledgeable about his trees and was able to help me choose my 16 beautiful Carolina Cherry trees to line my pool for privacy. Angela and I did a little landscaping refresh and had a great experience with Moon Valley Nurseries. Greg Lofton helped us at the nursery. He came out to the house and took pictures and looked at what areas required full sun versus more shaded areas. He made recommendations, sent estimates, worked within our budget, and managed our install. It was a service experience like we've never had with a nursery or landscape company. This place is owned by private equity and a complete SCAM. We went in there on Sunday to look around and ended up buying a tree which unknowingly was insanely over priced. The cost was 3k for a single tree (when other nurseries charge 1/3). I called the same day to cancel the order and they told me a manager needed to approve the cancellation. After 3 more phone calls over the following days. Someone finally called me back and told me they will cancel the order for a 15% charge. They charged me 450 to cancel a tree the same day. They never moved the tree or anything. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

Kraig and the entire Moon team were excellent to work with on our search of a maple tree. They text and sent us pictures of a new batch of trees as promised and we meet them at the nursery. We like to plant trees and my wife wanted a Willow for her birthday. Moon Valley had many to choose from in various sizes and prices. I found and purchased a truly beautiful Willow and arranged to have them plant it on her birthday. They had an incredible selection and I ended up buying several other trees as well. There was a large selection! And they served my husband BBQ! I love that you can pick the tree, they will deliver it and plant it.
