I look forward to frequenting this breakfast place every year on our annual trip to Nuevo Vallarta! The food is always delicious, coffee strong, and the service attentive. Sure it's in a mall, so the ambiance is not ideal, but it works. Angel was our waiter on our most recent visit and we had a wonderful first meal to kick off 2024!

Great food for an affordable price! The staff were attentive, made good food recommendations and checked on us regularly. They have ample seating and an extensive menu for breakfast or lunch lovers. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. The chilaquiles did not come with onions on top despite the photo, may be worth ordering them on top if you'd like them - the flavor was rich and tasty even without the onion. The paninis were good but there was more bread compared to the amount of filing. For the price I would highly recommend skipping the hotel brunch and making a trip here once or twice in your trip to Nuevo Vallarta.

Authentic, fresh, delicious. Come hungry, leave comatose! Great, quick and efficient service. Had the Chilaquiles Rojo y Verde con Frijoles y huevo. The Refried Beans are amazingly flavored and fresh. Had a turkey & onion omelette with the juiciest and sweetest fruitas: Pineapple and Canteloupe. Not a coffee drinker but their Caramel Macchiato was smooth, creamy and it came with a shot of Vanilla syrup, which initially, we thought was a shot of Tequila. They have all kinds of fresh juices. We went with the Green, which made you feel like you were drinking fresh cut herbs and fruit. Excellent location, especially if you're staying on the Paradise Village Beach resort. Overall, LOVED the food, location, service and will be back...after we wake up from being comatose.

Omelette a la arrachera.

We went there twice for breakfast. My family and I really enjoyed the food. The waiters were polite, friendly and very attentive to whatever the customer wanted. Also, the place was very clean and nicely decorated with a family friendly environment.

One of our favorite breakfast places in Nuevo Vallarta. It's located in Paradise Plaza. The service is excellent. They food is great for breakfast. They have a varied selection and it tastes great. It is a bit weird that it's in a plaza. But it's worth a try. You won't regret it!!

My wife, daughter and I loved this restaurant. Reasonably priced and delicious food. Forget the hotel restaurant, we were much happier taking a little walk and eating here multiple days, especially breakfast.

Reasonable prices for a pretty basic meal. Nothing fancy. Service was attentive and the food was OK. I had a breakfast burrito which was unremarkable. Pretty dry without much flavor. The hot salsa helped but the whole thing lacked inspiration. My wife had a basic egg, bacon and pancake breakfast which was good. Again, nothing remarkable except the bacon was cooked perfectly.

Quite an awesome selection. Really a hidden gem in a pretty deserted shopping mall. This place is upstairs on the second level next to Nopalito's. you can sit inside the cafe part or out along the balcony overlooking the rest of the mall. They have their menu in Spanish and English and the prices are almost laughable they're so cheap. My boyfriend and I got coffee (one mocha and one cappuccino, steak and eggs (his with pancakes and mine with home fries) and the bill was like US$19. The selection of pancakes, waffles, egg dishes, and cold items were plentiful. If you couldn't find something to meet your dietary concerns then the problem is with you, not them. And without a doubt, the service is great. The waiters and bussers brought out and cleaned up the plates so quickly. As soon as I put my fork down to finish, there was a man standing by asking if he could take it away lol.

Tried this place as a suggestion from a friend who eats here every day on their annual vacation here, and am so glad we did. This place quickly became our favorite little off-resort eatery, and I will definitely return the next time we are in town. Service was excellent and so was the food. Loved both their breakfast menu, and the sandwiches we tried on the lunch menu. My only regret was waiting to try this place until the second half of our stay!

It was morning and I was walking by with my girlfriend trying to find a good place to eat breakfast while on vacation. I passed up Moon Star before because It was in the mall. So many other places should have good food and allow me to eat with a nice view right? . . . After all we are one vacation. But for some reason I gave in I guess because of my willingness to try new things or just they fact because it was close and the menu looked like it somewhat catered to vegetarians. Well we went and I just enjoyed everything! I had the spinach cheddar omelet and the Blueberry Waffle. Now the menu will say waffle topped with blueberries but I loved my blueberries inside and they did that for me no problem. It was great! The omelet was also very delicious and the service was great! I have gone back and will continue to go back. The price is low, the food is great! The only think they are lacking is the view.

Chilaquiles

So thankful for this recommendation from some friends . Amazing options including fresh juice, which I would highly recommend. We had the breakfast burrito with bacon and cheese, berry waffle, chilaquiles. Slightly hungover and this was the perfect recovery, close to paradise and super convenient.

Strawberry French toast! SO GOOD!

Good breakfast, service was excellent and prices were good. The only drawback is that you are sitting in a mall.

Love this place for buffet breakfast and lunch. Marisol and Miguel knows us as we come here…read moreeveryday for brunch buffet. They are open from 7-12 pm. They are smaller than cafe de Lago but I love a smaller buffet so I can enjoy all the dishes. They have a salad bar, hot section, omelet station, waffles, pancake and French toast station, roast station, gluten free bread station, juice station, cold cuts , charcuterie station , baked goods and dessert station and a bar. I love making fresh salads everyday and eating their smoked salmon and roast meats. We always stay in tower 4 so we just come down here for brunch then onto the pool. I'll take pics of the buffet next time. I always forget because I come here feeling hungry that I forget to take pics. This cafe will always be my favorite. Great service and friendly peeps. Get here before 8 am (or is it 9?) to take advantage of a 30% buffet discount. Lots of different food selections, of a higher quality than the Cafeteria toward the beach. Everything from custom-made omelettes and pancakes/waffles/French Toast (with real maple syrup!) to Mexican recipes. Baked goods are pretty good, although the bagel thins were a bit stale every time I sampled them. Orange juice is yummy. Coffee is exceptional (I typically stick to lattes). Servers are quick to engage and quite personable (give my best to Miguel). Enjoy!

Really surprised by the texture of the mushroom but could've used more of the greens and accent sauce Aguachile (4.5/5): delicious with varied textures - only complaint was that the avocados were a little brown and overripe Tomato salad (3.5/5): not too creative nor memorable but still yummy Octopus taco (4/.5/5): the octopus was perfectly crispy and flavors were well-balanced with the lime and pickled onions. Only knock is the tortilla was a little too oily for my liking Beef tenderloin (5/5) vs Tuna steak (4.5/5) - MVPs: Both of these main proteins were delicious and made even more so by the jalapeno gremolata. Usually I prefer fish but the beef was really perfectly cooked and more filling so slight nod to the beef Avo ice cream (4/5): Not to say it was bad but this dessert definitely looks prettier than it tastes. Although the avocado taste didn't come out in the ice cream, the crumble was a great addition to both texture and flavor. Not pictured (5/5): perfectly paired drinks :) Definitely a pricier meal than other local options but for a celebratory dinner, the value is 100% there! Service (5+/5): Staff was absolutely on their game and truly catered to everything we needed We'll absolutely be back Salud, Loma42!

It's thicker, more cheesy than what I've ever had before and very delicious. We paired that with the prime rib tacos, it was a plate stacked with meat and 4 tortillas under it, more than we could eat. The seasoning was great, it was diced so small that it was easy to eat. Vegans are easy please. Give them clear marked options, even if there is one option, we are pleased. This place had a few clearly marked options plus the staff was fully aware and can provide suggestions. The only downside it is a cash only place. Guacamole and chips - fantastic. The guacamole freshly prepared and chips fresh fried. Amazing. The 3 types of vegan tacos we got were vegan chorizo, mushrooms and cactus (trying for the fist time). The vegan chorizo was the best, slightly spicy but not overly. The poblano peppers were predictable but very good. The onions with it were a good addition. Nicely seasoned and prepared. The cactus was good, we found that it was less seasoned. Just stir fried cactus. The star of all the three types tacos was the fresh blue corn tacos. We could have those everyday. The other superb tasting was the salsas and fresh toppings. 4 types of salsas, white onions and cilantro. The salsa were of varying different levels of heat and even the mildest salsa was the best. The virgin margarita and virgin mojito were great. Margarita being slightly better even though we love mint. Good atmosphere, clean surrounding and great service and vegan food - what more can one ask?
