Small town dinner, very dated decor but still very quaint…read more Our table was a bit sticky, but I think it was due to the years and years of use. Basic menu, and food that is comforting. Fair size portions at decent prices. The server was cold to us at first but she came around. Definitely a place that locals visit often. This place only takes cash but has an ATM on site. All in all, a decent place, when you just want something to eat, but aren't expecting much.

Dec 3rd around 10 AM my wife and I visited this Starbucks. Apparently these two employees just make…read morewhatever drink they want and call it whatever you ordered. I asked for a salted caramel mocha, which she said they could make. Then when asked about the toffee nut syrup, she says "no. That's seasonal". Then it's not a salted caramel mocha. She looked at me confused. This was my first hint she had no clue what she was doing. Then she made my wife a "caramel brûlée" which my wife order a chestnut praline. My wife handed it to her and she said they would remake it, and then five minutes later handed us back the same drink, THE EXACT SAME DRINK, that she had taken from us. Didn't remake it. Didn't even bother changing the cup because the sticker on the side STILL said Caramel Brûlée. I don't know if this is utter incompetence or sheer laziness but either way it is absolutely unacceptable. DO BETTER! I'm not trying to be stuck up or anything but if I order something and you charge me a price for what I ordered, I expect to get what I paid for. This is precisely why I do not tip on your machines prior to receiving my item I ordered, because I refuse to tip someone for piss poor, half assed service. And the only tip they're getting from me now is "Don't expect extra pay for less than average effort"

I moved to Blair a little over a year ago and I have been to the Family Fare for groceries a few…read moredozen times. In addition, I have went there for breakfast at least 6 times and this is what my feedback is about. The staff taking breakfast orders at the deli counter is terrible. EACH AND EVERY TIME I have been there, the person taking the order is ambivalent, morose, unsmiling, impatient, short, or a combination of some or all. Now, this is the CUSTOMER FACING part of your store and yet, these people are sending out the signal that our breakfast business is unimportant and that our visit, TO YOUR STORE, is an imposition. Today, as an example, the woman was serving an older gentleman in front of me who was obviously having trouble hearing with the plexiglas shield and the fact that he was over 80. She was annoyed and it was clearly showing on her face and in her tone when telling the man to push certain buttons on the pin pad. He was getting flustered and she had no patience whatsoever. Just this side note, the MAJORITY of your customers each weekday morning are over 60. Try treating them like human beings and realize that some have hearing loss or move slower than others. Now, the price for the food is very reasonable but can someone clean the grill? when eggs come out with black charred remnants of past 'cooks' something is wrong with your clean up routine. In addition, hash browns shouldn't come out white. Cook the damn things so they brown up at least a little instead of trying to rush the order out. I just don't understand why the store doesn't put personable people out front and someone who cares about their job. I get that you won't get rich working there but if you don't want to work, then leave and find something else.

The gluten-free crust is only in the small size, and with the abundant toppings, half a pizza is just fine for one person. That's especially good since gluten-free is more expensive. Well worth it, though. And much better than Dominos. Just wish Casey's didn't have gambling so prominently a part of their business now. One whole side of windows is taken up with gambling machines.
