To further and taste your taste buds there is an array of chocolates, sponge coffee and other goodies. Seniors cones with one scoop are also available. Along with all the fruit-flavored goodies there are so may cute home items and decor to look at, as well as ice cream (there was a busy line for this while we were shopping). Summerland Sweets is in the middle of a number of wineries and made for a great break from wine tasting (including wonderful clean public washrooms). This is now a mandatory stop when we visit the Summerland area, and my only regret is not going home with one of the 4L jugs of syrup!

We toured the area this time and bumped into Summerland sweets. What a great find! We walked in and found shelves and shelves of jam, fruit candies, pottery, fruit wines, and an ice cream counter in the back. Our group of 10 all stopped for an ice cream and we were so glad we did! They offer two types of cones and a bunch of different flavors of ice cream. The standard scoop is HUGE. The ice cream prices are very cheap (see photo) and the scoops are generous. The girls working the counter are very friendly and were super nice with our 4 seniors (all over age 85) who were trying to decide what to get. The cherry ice cream was a huge hit! There is also a wine tasting room where they serve fruit wines. The colors are beautiful and the wine tasting is free. We ended up with some fruit flavored candy for my husband to bring back to work (in Houston). We don't do a lot of touristy type things when we go to the Okanagan, so this was a wonderful place to stop, close to where we were staying. Took staffer way too long to get manager over to fix problem, then again way too long to process order and pay for it. 2) Finally, my turn. I was told they couldn't fill my mugs due to COVID, even though other BC McDonald's locations had filled them. 3) My order was put in the queue with other orders. Staff stood around and waited for food to be prepared for other orders, when they could have filled my order and had me on my way. 4) Women's washroom was out of order. Urinal was out of order in men's washroom. Hey McDonald's: if you're going to promote McCafe your service needs to be tailored to do a much better job.

Our radiator cracked while driving east and we were towed into this beautiful little town. They had…read morea room available right away for me and my partner. Because we were waiting for our car to get repaired they allowed us to keep our belongings in the room after check out while we toured town. It was a very small additional charge. The front desk lady was just THEE sweetest woman we've meet our whole trip and just so helpful with making our situation as pleasant as possible. The room was spacious, a/c worked great and it was a quite place to rest after a trying day. I'd recommended this Inn to anyone who will be coming to town.
