I called Moody to fix my air conditioner the arrived late about 2pm they were suppose to be here between 11 am and 1 pm. When the repairman got here he went to the air handler on the first floor and removed the motors and some bracket pieces. He said that was the problem and he would order a new one the charge would be $400.00. He then went to the upstairs air conditioner and told me it was low on Freon He charged me $145.00 for the call two days later the upstairs air conditioner was not working I called Moody they were to come the next day and never did show up when I called their office no one answered the phone so I left several messages I was not contacted by their office so I called another Service they found that Freon leaked out of the upstairs air conditioner because of a cap not put on and tightened correctly. When I heard this I asked them to check the air handler for the downstairs they said they could replace the motor for $200.00, but they would need all that was taken by Moody to be here. I called several times to Moody's office asking for the return of my motor and parts. they never answered I left messages. NOW as a retired general contractor in my opinion moody is a walking piece of feces and they have no or very little knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems their expertise seems limited to gouging and ripping off fixed income retirees. I would recommend that no one use their services ever. read more
