I was very…read morefortunate to have my call serviced by the owner who is a Master HVAC Engineer with over 30 years of service. This is the first time my system was ever fixed by any of AHS vendors this expeditiously and it's a testament to the owner's ability to quickly diagnose and repair the unit in less than 7 minutes. If I was able to articulate my system issue appropriately he would have probably been able to fix and diagnose quicker. In all, awesome service. I highly recommend Mr. Allen and his company if you want something done right the first time.

I woke up yesterday to our ac not working and was lucky enough you find someone who could come out same day between 12-2 then said he couldn't come until 5pm. Fast forward to 10 at night when he finally texted and said he could try tomorrow. He never once told us payment options. When he finally showed up he barely spoke to my husband, looked at a few things and told my husband the cost and wanted payment before work which is weird. He not once told my husband what was wrong with our unit. He takes cash, check and Zelle. We told him we don't carry that much cash and said we'd go inside and grab a check. My husband came in to grab the check and the guy got in his van and drove away. I called to speak with him and he said he doesn't work for free which no one expected him to. Said he has other things to do and to call when we had payment. YOU COULD HAVE WAITED A FEW MINUTES AND HAD YOUR CHECK! We have two small children whose house is in the high 80s. Absolutely the most disgusting excuse for a human. You couldn't give us a few minutes to write a check. If you're reading this find someone else to fix your unit! Now we have to wait days for our kids to have air in our home. He deserves zero business! Have the day you deserve.

The AC stopped working during the hottest week of the year. (Of course.) The good: they answered the phone quickly and nicely. A tech was assigned to come out the next day, and he did. He knew his stuff, and was super-nice. When I eventually had the unit repaired a few days later, this tech, too, was very knowledgeable and nice. Everyone I talked to or worked with was both knowledgeable and nice. People called back when they said they would, and showed up when they said they would. It feels weird giving compliments on what SHOULD be minimum expectations, but it doesn't feel like many businesses care about that kind of stuff today. It's clear that they do. And I am thankful for that. I am also thankful for their ability to get parts pretty quickly. It helps to be an older company with connections. The bad: the prices are, plainly and simply, gouging. I mean, ASTRONOMICAL. Like a blow to the face. I received an alleged "discount" because I had a maintenance plan, and even that amount was super-high, meaning that the price I would've been quoted without the "discount" was (again) astronomical. Of course I was desperate (98° temps with 85% humidity causes that desperation), and felt because they had experience with the unit and the parts were covered under warranty, that it would be quicker to go with them. Had I not been desperate, I would've shopped around. Quotes are done by job, and not by the hours on the job, and I realize that. More knowledgeable techs will take less time to do work, and I realize that, too. It was still high. I made the choice, and I don't think I would make a different one if I went back in time.

The salesperson came out Saturday as well. We went with a variable system, had it installed first thing Monday morning and our house was cool again. Everyone we worked with was wonderful!

I agreed to the extra cost no problem!! When I called to schedule my appointment for the work to be done I verified with the employee that I still wanted metal duct work at my house at this point the employee got rude with me telling me he does not use metal duct work he uses duct board. I informed him that I was aware that he generally uses duct board but that I had requested Metal duct work. I canceled the appointment I truly believe that if I had not asked or canceled the appointment he would have put the duct board in my house regardless of what I wanted or paid for. He treated me like just because I do not do HVAC that I should not ask any questions. I did a lot of research prior to having any HVAC company come to my house to give me a quote. I had 10 companies come out for estimates and he was the only HVAC company using duct board which is why I asked him if he would use metal duct work when he was at my house giving me a quote. I honestly feel like he saw a single female and thought he could do and say whatever he wanted to me.
