They could possibly be the coolest people I've chatted with in a while. Loaded with great stories, and knowledge about the area. They also said that they have a special during February that includes a free wine tasting. Check em out.

My best friend, her husband, and I stayed in two of their beautiful, cozy rooms in the days leading up to Christmas. The inn grounds were lit up with sparkling lights as I approached the inn, and I was blown away by the incredible Christmas decor throughout the entire establishment. Debra and Ken were incredible hosts who paid attention to all of the details, ensuring we had the most comfortable stay. We had so much fun exploring all that the outdoors have to offer, and I was dazzled by the surrounding Christmas tree farm. Meadowsweet Gardens Inn is a true treasure, and I look forward to meeting friends for more adventures there soon!

The cabin had every amenity we could of asked for (OK...a hot tub on the deck would have been nice) and we felt so comfortable from the minute we got there. The living room fireplace was amazing and we had it on constantly. The living room was comfortable and large. The kitchen was a bit small for both of us to work in but it was more than adequate. Both bedrooms were lovely (the king sized bed was super comfortable) and there were plenty of bathrooms to pick from. The sheets and towels were plentiful and plush and it was nice to be able to do laundry. The driveway up to the house was something. Super steep and it made the returns from our walks a bit challenging. And we were glad that it didn't snow to have to tackle it in the ice. The internet was great for keeping up with work but it wasn't sufficient to be able to stream movies or television. But the choices on the satellite TV made up for it. We loved The Getaway and will definiteley be back!

The wildlife made our stay even more special. We saw so many deer, countless birds, a raccoon, and even a bear! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, which made it feel like home. One of my favorite parts was waking up in the master bedroom to the mountain view right from the bed--absolutely amazing. We watched lightning dance across the distant sky, enjoyed the beautiful Strawberry Moon, listened as the rain slowly moved across the mountains until it reached us, and even caught fireworks lighting up the distance. Ending the day in the hot tub while taking in the endless mountain views was the perfect way to relax. Every moment felt peaceful and unforgettable. We can't wait to come back!

We chose this home because of its proximity to the hiking spots we wanted to explore, and it didn't disappoint. The house itself was lovely, comfortable, and well-equipped. We especially appreciated having a full kitchen for making breakfast together and enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably--perfect for a group getaway. It's also ideally located--just 10 minutes from Blowing Rock with great restaurants, about 20 minutes to Boone, and only 30 minutes from Grandfather Mountain. It made getting around to all our planned activities quick and easy. Overall, this was the perfect home base for a fun and relaxing girls' weekend. Highly recommend!

Not only was the room the cutest, it was also CLEAN!! There were snacks, water, tea, and brochures for local sights along with coupons. woohoo! Check in and out was super simple. I was there over the Fourth of July weekend and out of 10 rooms, there were only 2 others that had occupants for one night each. So if you see it says "this is the last queen room!" That is probably not true. The old check in building has been turned into a community space with a small area to pay for snacks and souvenirs. It is not walkable (not great sidewalks) but easy to drive to places that are. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable and the AC worked well. We appreciated having spectrum television as an option. Also pet friendly for a fee, however there isn't great grass or walking areas around the motel for a pet. Finally I would recommend they add an ice machine or ice cube trays to the rooms. It's in a great location, each to get around and plenty of parking. For a few days, it's perfect!

We heard about the wonderful room, the great service and how it was a perfect getaway. They stayed in the "Turret Room" and by all accounts, it was one of the best getaways they have had. That was enough for me to give the Blowing Rock Victorian Inn at least 4 stars. I have to give it a 5 star rating because the service aspect went above and beyond. Because it was a gift, I had reserved the room on my credit card online. I wanted to make sure that my in-laws would not have any issue with check-in, so I gave the Victorian Inn a call. I spoke with Ted Henry, one of the owners. Ted made sure everything was copacetic, emailed me my receipt and even texted me once my in-laws arrived letting me know they were checked in. I expect this type of service from a Marriott (my usual hotel of choice), but to get the same type of personal, top-rate service from a small hotel in Blowing Rock, NC greatly impressed me. If you're looking to escape to the Blowing Rock or Boone areas of North Carolina, I would highly recommend booking your stay at the Blowing Rock Victorian Inn. I would hurry though...with this kind of service and wonderful accommodations, they'll be booked solid quickly.
