I got a response the 2nd time and they came out the next day to see my project and committed to sending me an estimate. I never heard from them again. I circled back a couple of times and crickets. So I have no problem with giving 5 stars, but I do think there are a few spots that could have used…read morebetter attention to detail, as noted in a couple of the photos provided. The crew was here almost two weeks. I thought it crazy that the company didn't provide them a port-a-jon. We had some other work done that took the same amount of time and that company made sure their crew had a place to use the bathroom. I certainly would not expect my crew to have to ask the homeowner. As for the work, good stuff, the crew were very professional. The company's "front office" were attentive when I asked for things, the only oddity is I never got an invoice after payment, nor the link they said I'd get to provide feedback. Like they went out of business or something. At any rate, I'd recommend this company, and would hire them again if I needed any work done. One note of recommendation, the wall lights used were $200 a piece and are fixed. Volt Lighting out of Florida has wall lights for $60 that can be adjusted to bathe the area where the $200 ones point straight down, limiting their ability to bathe the area broader. That is one change I would have made in hindsight.

Oak Valley prepared the site to install our whole house generator. The work was performed beyond my…read moreexpectations. I was surprised about two things in particular. 1). The work area was super clean when they finished. You would think the hardscape had been there for years. 2). The work crew used a wheel barrow instead of the tracked bucket loader they had on site. As a result, there was NO damage to the existing sod or yard. That caused them a LOT of extra effort and was VERY appreciated. Photos are with no generator were taken within hours of Oak Valley completing work. Notice how clean they left the work area.

This company was a gem and exceeded expectations. The owner is extremely helpful whenever I call…read morein and has honestly gone way above and beyond every time I need anything. I wanted auto-pay, the owner figured out how to do it and now they offer auto-pay. We wanted our aeration done before the weekend so the owner personally came out, strapped headlights to the front of the aerator, and got it done for us on a Wednesday night. We had squirrels eat our latches and he helped us figure out the culprit and even offered to buy us new latches. Stand up company. Stand up guy. Will be shifting more of my yard maintenance over to them.

Had C&W Hanover Septic come out to pump the tank. Here are my thoughts that resulted in a 3-star…read morerating. 1) Had two guys for two separate activities. Both of the guys represented the company well. 2) When the guy opened the tank, he discovered an issue, as he thought the pump was not functioning. He proceeded to pump the tank. The cost was $575, which was a reasonable cost based on research. 3) The other guy replaced the pump, which cost $1,600. Based on research, this was an exorbitant price based on the retail cost of the pump. Based on all of the factors, would consider them again for pumping the tank, but absolutely not for other work.

We truly appreciate what Greenline's people did for us…read more Very late last fall, I asked Greenline to schedule us for leaf removal, but understood there would be a wait. Then weather and more weather delayed removal. However, on Thursday, Dec 20, even though rain fell all day, 6 men worked in the wet to clear two months of leaves off a 3/4 acre lot. The huge piles were vacuumed on Sat and the yard looks really nice. We will use Greenline again and we recommend them to anyone who wants good, reliable yard service.

We wanted to support a local co. but it started to become the norm and they became very unreliable with dates/time/communications too. Not only was his quote comparable to the competitors - but his team also went above and beyond to include things like our staircase and our railings for the same price. Most other vendors either drastically upcharged for either or both of those (Buff and Coat was the only one willing to touch the railings). In addition, his team was incredibly kind to help us move our furniture into other rooms and the garage to help make the transition easier. They were kind, professional, and incredibly hard working. I'll happily recommend them for their service as well as their professionalism throughout!

Only one member of the team spoke English and he was surly and rude when I mentioned the mess they made on my walkway. But they were lacking in manners and generally accepted social behavior.
