I did have a bit of trouble finding the right person to speak to on the phone. I'll say that the two women women working at the receptionist desk during my visit were extremely nice. Setting an appointment was a breeze, and CRA provides an option to complete all of your paperwork online before your visit. Checking in was also a breeze. Although I arrived about 20 minutes before my check in time (just as a just in case since I was a 1st time patient), they let me start my MRI a bit early, which was great. Just like the women at reception, the MRI team were super nice too. The facilities were quite clean and looked maintained. However, I was a little concerned that the warm water in the restroom was white even after running the water for a couple of minutes. CRA/medical park has a decent number of free parking spaces, which is becoming more rare these days, so that's one less thing to worry about. Actually, the parking situation is why I arrived earlier than my check in time, because it seems impossible to find free parking in this area. Fortunately, you will not have that problem at CRA.

Once again, we were told to arrive early for check-in, which we did--only to wait 45 minutes to over an hour past our scheduled appointment time. It took 30 minutes just to be checked in, and once we were finally called back to another area, we waited there for an extended period as well. To make matters worse, the test being performed required a full bladder prior to the appointment. By the time the test actually started, we had been waiting nearly two hours while holding a full bladder, which is extremely uncomfortable and completely unacceptable. If you know your facility is understaffed or running behind, patients should be notified in advance. There is no respect for people's time here, especially for children and for procedures that require specific physical preparation. I will never return to this location. I will continue to support American Radiology in Columbia, MD, where wait times are reasonable and, more importantly, patients are called ahead of time to reschedule if staffing issues arise. That is what real customer service and patient-centered care looks like

The scheduler says some schedulers automatically you need one because UHC is so difficult to work with. Day of scan wasn't any better. the front desk intake woman was RUDE, cold and intimidating, which i assume was her game all along. No need to treat patients like people. the machine was basic, no music or visuals to help you through it, No message asking if I was doing ok, or telling me how much longer the test would take. But they were pleasant and competent. when I left I was given the requested disk promptly. But was told results would take 3 - 5 business days and another 3 for the report to be posted to the patient portal. Find another place to get your MRI.

White Oak is bigger and the waiting room was full of people. When I got seen, I learned that the only additional x-ray I needed was just a slight tilt of my leg, and that the issue was that the tech at Lockwood just didn't know what it was (the name of the position). It was so basic! Very frustrating that I had to go to this extra effort and take additional time for something so simple. I would say a major complaint is they would insist on a copayment before service and when I had Medicare as secondary due to being a dependent of a disabled adult while younger they would incorrectly charge a copay when they shouldn't have. The office was nice and open, with tall ceilings, a spacious waiting area, and wood floors mostly. The receptionists were a little rude. I arrived 15 minutes early, but waited 45 minutes to be seen by the technician. The technician I had was female and she was soft spoken, but made me at ease with the procedure. She explained everything as she did it and made sure I was comfortable. The actual procedure only took about 20 minutes, and it was painless...just a little bit of pressure. Overall, I'd recommend this place and I would feel comfortable going here again.

I let the scheduler know that I was between primary care doctors (my previous doctor left her practice) and she said that was fine, but after sitting for half an hour in a packed waiting room I was told by the front desk that it's illegal for them to give me a mammogram if I don't have a primary care doc for them to send it to. I personally think this is stupid, but if this is their policy why was I even given an appointment? Please find another location, I've had a good experience with their Germantown office.

I was in & out in about an hour even though 4 people were in front of me & it was over the lunch hour. They use a pager system for calling you to the front for paper work. Very efficient, took my insurance - no problems. Also sending x-ray results to my doc - who is in the building. Check. The Not Good: this joint is RIDICULOUSLY in need of an upgrade/repair. Check out my two pics of the x-ray room. The blinds are actually torn & missing - exposing the whole scene (& my breasts!) to the people in the offices across the alley! Also, the machine wasn't "firing" and had to be "reset" in the midst of my x-ray series. I get that older equipment still works fine but this place reminds me of health care in Eastern Europe!

There was a miscommunication with what was included in my purchased package and the owner made sure to make it right! 5 stars and cannot recommend this place enough! I wasn't planning on doing another scan outside of my OB but I enjoyed this so much we will try to come back here again when I'm a little bit more far along. The room was also very clean and cute and ample seating for your loved ones. I really felt cared for here and there's some lovely people that work here.

Being pregnant for the first time during COVID has come with many challenges; one of them being my…read morehusband not able to attend appointments and ultrasounds with me. He's missed out on some of those special moments, but being able to attend the 3D/4D ultrasound together brought us so much joy! Beth was able to get some amazing shots of our baby girl, and I have over 30 stills and the video from the whole experience to download and keep for memories. Beth also gave us a packet of several color and black and white photos! The office was very clean, and they diligently sanitized the office and sonogram area after each patient. I will absolutely be back in the future, and I highly recommend Beth and Baby Joy!
