I am the first reviewer! Let's celebrate! I am not sure how this place could be tucked and hidden from any Yelpers this long, but thanks to a groupon that we got for their corn maze, this place we shall call a gem. Yes, it's an hour drive from Minneapolis but it's not that far away for a weekend day trip. The corn maze is fun, it's my first. So up close and personal with this corn on a cob! I never grew up in the Midwest so never been to one before. I love the creativity that was put in it. The design is shaped like a bison. There are two courses - one easy and the other one a little harder but longer. I think it will take about 45 mins to finish both.
Apart from the maze, the apple orchard is big and it offers a lot of honey crisp apples. There is a cute shop to purchase some pies and souvenirs. Their apple butter sauce was simply amazing. They also have a stage that is used for live band performances during the summer. Since I went there in the fall, there were lots of pumpkins on the stage for purchase.
There is also a cider and wine tasting room on site. So fun!!! Great business diversification and the owners are very nice. Their cider is delicious and strong in alcohol! Bring your lunch, order a flight and play some games. I am not crazy about their wine, but I am just not a fan of MN sweet wine in general and it's nothing against this place. read more
