Too busy texting to worry about customer service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Young man here doesn't know how to make a latte - he argued it only has flavored syrup and milk. We had to google how to make a late with steamed milk and show it to him. He is argumentative and sarcastic. They advertise "hot creamy oatmeal" but it was so thick we had to request extra milk and are now eating cold oatmeal. He is more focused on playing on his phone than customer service. Save your money!!

Simple sandwich and beverages. Nothing fancy, but comfy chairs do help. Quick pit stop before going to Charlotte.

Rarely open on time in the morning and customer service is terrible. The owner of this place should be booted and get someone in that cares.

Great coffee shop. Loved the "Fighter Pilot Spoken Here" sign in the window, too.

I just witnessed a guy who was refused a replacement coffee after another customer took his in error. The exchange was crazy.

I picked this spot because it was local and they had a drive through for coffee. I didn't go inside but it's a cute little building. Limited parking and a sort of twisty drive through, but I really like the concept. I wish more higher quality places had a drive through. I ordered one of their seasonal specials, the Cadbury Egg. It's a double shot espresso with white mocha, regular mocha, and caramel. It gave me /bad/ sticker shock. I ordered the smaller size and it was almost $9. For the size of it, I thought the price was very, very high. Service was also quite bumpy. The girl who took my order didn't seem too happy to see me but she took my payment and went back to make my drink. We waited a while, and then a different, friendlier girl came to see if we'd been helped, which we said we had. Then we waited....a lot longer. The first girl finally came back after an extended time, made a very halfhearted apology for our wait (after we watched her horsing around with a male employee right behind the window) , and we were finally on our way. The drink was aggressively fine. I didn't taste any caramel and it mostly had a sort of nondescript mocha vibe. It was a touch on the bitter/burnt side too, though not unmanageable. I think I'm more upset about the price vs the size and quality rather than anything intrinsically wrong with the drink; if I could've had the same drink at around ~$5-6 I'd probably bump up to a 3 star rating. As is, though, it was a mid drink for a high price served very, very slowly with a touch of surliness. I wonder if service is quicker on the inside. They didn't seem too busy but it's hard to tell what was going on indoors; the drive through had no one ahead of us though. The food offerings look good. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day.

I'm full of love and this location really likes to try and make me feel insignificant and unworthy of care and love from my community. It's like they want you to have as bad as a day as they are having just because you want to use the bathroom, or charge your phone, or order something really quick. I just feel like if you don't like your job--if it isn't your passion, your calling, where God led you to be JOYOUSLY--then those employees should leave and stop ruining the aura of a city/place. The people of Montgomery especially in the service industry very much pick and choose who they're going to be friendly with and smile at. This location specifically gives me the hugest ick, but I really love Starbucks--honestly as a franchise despite its weird dealings with supporting Israel's hatred and whatnot--and this is the only one in Downtown Montgomery unfortunately. When I worked for the State, the service was trash. Gutter. Only a few times was the service actually on par. Yet we would see them in the same breath be silent to us and loud and obnoxiously greeting others. Weird right? Lol nope, just oddly intentional in an embarrassing way. But I can't be embarrassed. I'm just embarrassed for them. I resigned from my position to boycott capitalism and such, but I still like what I like--and I do feel like Starbucks is the definition of eating food and drinking drinks you know are mediocre (though yummy) and super processed--and still engaging because you like the look of the place and the taste most times regardless. As an unhoused person, I guess the service is still just as trash and the energy is just colder. Even more of a "we don't want you here." I did direct these comments to someone working today, but I think much like with Prevail Union--these companies and workers no longer deserve my or your (the reader's) support and business/currency. As I also reviewed under Prevail, it is time for a decent, righteous human being and leader to open up a reputable coffee shop in the area that is truly about community and not faking it for sales and revenue like most businesses Downtown are. Let's take the trash out, Montgomery It's not the homeless, it's the people with homes. Y'all are truly stinking up the blessings of life with your worthless opinions and wannabe bullying and ostracism It falls flatter than the coffee. Only two stars because I get to use the restroom without them speaking to me too much cause they're too busy making sour faces and feeling a way about it. That's been the biggest blessing of their existence and mine.

As I was waiting, another member came in the front door, exasperated, stating "AGAIN!?" I asked what they meant, and they relayed this same thing had occurred the last three days. They then opened the door, where another group said "did it happen again!?" as they all proceeded to walk away. I eventually had to rush out, just to not be late to the next 8 hours of teaching I was required to do on a quick-turn TDY, uncaffeinated. The only other coffee shop on Maxwell doesn't open until 0700, so not only did you lose business, but you're also leaving many members without caffeine and breakfast for who knows how long this has occurred. Please remedy or change your operating hours. Thank you!

However I did go around lunchtime to get a sandwich. I ordered the legend club. The lady did make a smart and unnecessary comment about people not reading the menu, but whatever! I I was hoping to have a good lunch because it should be hard to mess up a sandwich however it was just a lot of lettuce, thick pieces of bread and one freaking slice of turkey meat when it's supposed to have turkey ham and bacon. so I'm almost sure I was bamboozled on that. But since the coffee is good, it's worth giving it a try but Do Not expect too much on the food.
