He is usually very scared of doctor visits and even the word "surgery," but Dr. Lee and the whole team were amazing with him. They explained everything in a simple way he could understand and made him feel comfortable. For the first time, he walked into the surgery room with them without being scared or looking back at me. Dr. Lee, Kristy, Robert, and the whole team are very professional and experienced with kids. As parents, we felt very relieved and confident in their care. Extremely disappointed with the work done here for a crown…read more Initially when I had the temporarily crown put on, the bite was off and Dr. Desai shaved a significant portion off which caused my tooth to become extremely sensitive to a point where I cannot eat from one side of my mouth. Once the actual crown came, I should've known something was off when he spent a good amount of time shaving and adjusting the crown and opposing teeth. After the crown was put on, now both my crown and opposing teeth is extremely sensitive to temperature and I am experiencing pain from chewing. When I brought my concerns to Dr. Desai he stated everything looks fine and the pain should go away over time. I decided to go to another Dentist for a second opinion and his diagnosis was that the crown was oversized and it needs a replacement. He performed a series of bite test and he showed me which spots were higher than the others. Also you can visibly see that the crown was entirely flat on top due to all the shaving he performed on an oversized crown. Dr. Desai should have known that the measurements were wrong when the temporary cap did not fit. But instead of remeasuring the tooth and reordering the right sized crown, he decided that flatting the entire top side of the crown will do the trick. Initially his front desk staff was extremely responsive but after asking for a copy of the receipt and pictures of the x-rays, their response was are "extremely busy" and will try to email me the next morning. Next morning came, still no email.

We were told she needed a root canal re-treatment and that she needed a CT scan for the treatment which costed almost $300. The person who attended to us told me all these horror stories and that if the RCT doesn't work, my daughter might need surgery. CT scan done and came back to our follow-up appointment only to be told that the RCT wasn't needed at all. I asked to speak to the LADY that I was speaking to at our last appointment and they kept ignoring my request. They brought in some other person that soured that whole visit even more so that it already was. He was absolutely RUDE and when I asked for the LADY that I spoke to during our last visit, he just smugly corrected me saying, "we're DOCTORS, not ladies", but never addressed it. And of course, I'm not going to be refunded for anything. ATROCIOUS EXPERIENCE.
