If I could give zero stars I would. Please please please don't adopt puppies from here. I adopted a puppy named Neo from here last Saturday. Reviewed his medical chart before bringing him home and it said he was treated for coccidia and upper respiratory infection that one of his litter mates had but not him. Sunday and Monday went fantastic with him and then Tuesday took a turn for the worst. I woke up there was three spots of vomit and extreme diarrhea in his crate. Ended up taking him to Petco's vet and he tested strong for parvovirus. I called the shelter the next day and they told me to bring him to the sick clinic. When I arrived there They basically told me that they would only give me a couple of medication to take home and the only way they would help him by hospitalization is if I re-surrendered him. After looking over the contract, I signed for adoption nowhere in the contract Does it state that you have to re-surrender the pet to treat a virus like parvo, in fact, it actually says that if it's within 10 days of your adoption date that they are responsible for the veterinary care. when I told them that I did not want to surrender him, they basically told me that I was on my own and that it was my financial responsibility. I ended up doing at home treatments with him for two days and things kept getting worse so I took him into emergency services where they then informed me that he also has hookworms. so I do know that on the contract it states that they cannot guarantee the health of the animal but when the records for the animal state that they dewormed him twice and did a fecal test how did they not see the hookworms and or parvovirus? Not to mention the thousands of dollars that I have now had to spend because Montgomery County is refusing to help even though they adopted out a sick animal and in the contract it states that they are responsible for it if it's within the 10 days which it was well within the 10 days. Neo also was in the crate with two of his litter mates so by the looks of it those two also should have parvovirus and hook worms. I tried to inform the shelter of his diagnosis and they said that they would let the adopters know and I'm honestly not sure if they did. In the shelter parvo virus is spreading like crazy, probably because the only sanitation that they have you do between picking up other puppies is hands sanitizer, which, in fact, does not kill parvovirus. Not to mention, hookworms are contagious to humans and dogs and I have four other dogs and I am pregnant. These dogs at the shelter just sit in their own feces give each other diseases and they do practically nothing about it except euthanize and it's just very sad. They offer little to no help and their contract only saves their asses. They don't really care about the pets.

Where do I start!!…read more First and foremost I want to thank God! Lmao no fr because I had such a bad experience at Petland Woodlands that it was by chance of me coming to this pet store. The first day I came Pet Fair my heart was truly broken from my experience at Petland that I decided to try Petfair the same day.. I truly couldn't connect with all the cute dogs there and they are sooooo cute! Very playful dogs etc but the dogs I seen just still couldn't buy my heart. My experience with the employees there was great however they were NOT trying to break my bank or force me into buying a dog at all!! They wanted to make sure I was just as in love with the dog before making a purchase. The next day I decided to go back with an open heart and upon me walking in I met Janet! Janet asked me about my daily routines.. what I was looking for (I had no specific dog I was looking for) and what type of work I did. Immediately based on my personality she showed me my lil guy who in my eyes at the time was a big guy! Lmao I was nervous like "Janet that's a big dog!! He gonna be too big" she reassured me that he wouldn't get too big.. gave me time to truly do my research on his breed and explained why she felt he was for me. I finally took the chance of meeting him. He immediately came out and stood on is legs and hugged me!! I was like omg! His personality literally was just like mine! Let's have fun but let's chill! As a DJ this is me 98% of the time! My heart fell in love. I completely forgot about the dog I thought was for me at the other store and I trusted Janet and Roberto with assist lol to move forward on getting him! I've had dogs in my lifetime.. it's been a week since I've had my new baby and I named him Teddy! He is by far the best dog I've ever had! Not only that but this pet store I'm convinced does some sort of training for these dogs. At 5 months old crate training has been simple I mean absolutely 0 issues. Potty training has been a 7.5 out of 10 and I honestly think we only had minor accidents because he's getting use to his new home! Teddy and I have fit right into each other and I have absolutely no regrets about choosing him as my fur baby! I'm a TikTok influencer and let's just say this Teddy is loved heavily already by my followers and he's a lil ladies man already! lol Thank you so much Janet & Roberto!! Thank you Pet Fair all together! You guys are awesome! ‍ Blessings! From Teddy and I‍

Wow! I feel the need to update my review after Hurrican Beryl. I happened to be out of town during…read morethe storm, luckily. Exceptional care of pets as always. When I was one of the lucky ones that went several days without power, Crystal jumped in with extra visits, no problem. GUYS...She even cleaned out my fridge and freezer of spoiled food! YOU READ THAT RIGHT! Voluntarily, she got rid of perishables that were going to be a problem. Good thing, I didn't get power back for another 5 days! What a mess I would've had. She also improvised extra water for the cats through the outage and made everything work for the well being of everyone (physical for cats and mentally for me!). I am lucky to have found Crystal when I moved to Houston 4 years ago, would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

This is my experience with Crystal's Cozy pets…read more My family and I have used Crystal's Cozy Pets for the last two years. We have had various animals that they have watched through out the years but most recently we have a 7 year old German Shepherd and a 7 month old Lab plus a kitten and two cats. Our sitter has been Hailey. In the beginning, everything was great! We would leave on a 10 day road trip and Hailey would come 4 times a day to take of the animals and we would get updates on the animals plus pictures. After some time, we started getting complaints about our dog Leo, the German Shepherd. That he was jumping on Hailey and causing scratches on her back. After that trip, I asked the owner, Crystal, if they could can still handle Leo and the verified "yes" that he was no problem. As time went on, we got Oso, a lab puppy. We just left on another 10 day road trip and received nothing but complaints and nagging about Oso almost every time Hailey went to our home. She complained so much about him, my husband and I stop replying to her messages. She accused my Oso of nipping and bitting her, which he has never done with me or my kids. I have video footage of her yelling at him and being aggressive towards him because once again, I have a 7 month puppy that will jump on her. Which 7 month old puppies will do! Hailey literally complained about almost everything about Oso. Aren't you a dog sitter? You are supposed to love animals but we definitely do not feel the love for our animals at all during this trip. Hailey is not qualified or has the the patience to deal with puppies or big dogs. 7 days into our trip, we are literally thousands of miles away and Crystal, the owner, calls us to say they no longer can take care of Oso and we need to come home! Or find another arrangement of care for him while we are still on the other side of the country! Are you kidding me?!? Thankfully, we found a lovely young man that was able to do it and he has been wonderful and says Oso is a wonderful puppy and has no issues with him! WOW! What a difference! Thankfully, since our family trip was intentionally ruined with Hailey and her complaints, we finally got to relax our last two days with the help with our new dog sitter, Junior! Honestly, we were not going to book with Crystal's Cozy Pets this trip, but wanted to give them another try. Boy, I should have listened to my gut. When you on vacation, you should be confident that you leave your pets in the hands of someone that will love and take care of them like you would and in all honesty, I don't feel like CCP's can do that.
