This office is receiving an overwhelmingly positive review for its services. I've always been skeptical about visiting a chiropractor due to my critical attitude. Over the last decade, I've had minor issues with pinched nerves here and there. About 2 years ago, I developed a strange electrical sensation which felt like ants climbing down my spinal cord. This really startled me so I decided to have an MRI which revealed that my lumbar spine was slightly narrowing. I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication that could be easily obtained over the counter which is everything the hospital did on their part. They offered me a referral to a neurologist which would most likely administer shots, or possibly suggest surgery in the future. This was scary to accept so I wanted to explore other options for the time being. My mother had a close friend who recommended this office. When my mother started visiting, she stated that it alleviated her symptoms for spinal stenosis when receiving regular adjustments. The awesome thing is that I received a complimentary x-ray with her referral which was super! Everyone here was friendly and super helpful with the process and assessments. They really made me feel more comfortable with the entire process since I tend to find new things very stressful. A consultation is given to review the results of the x-ray and physical examination. A treatment plan is made and Dr. Montgomery offers total transparency on concerning details. He made the adjustment process very comfortable and showed precision anatomical skill from so many years of perfecting his trade. His son is great to work with as well. I received a series of treatments over the course of several months and noticed a massive change in symptoms. It was especially noticed within the first few visits when my nerve sensations seemed to be shifting in my back. I was shocked when I realized that chiropractic care was making such changes, especially because I was so skeptical from the start. About the 3-4 month mark, the symptoms were either absent or barely noticeable. Almost a year later and I feel great that remarkable changes took place in my back. The staff was excellent when it came to examinations and training. Everyone in this office was awesome and had a bright attitude. Working nightshifts and living in Austin has made it really hard for scheduling, but they excelled in being flexible with spontaneous appointments. They periodically call to check up on you which I found helpful when I was letting my motivation falter. Dr. Montgomery has such a gifted and caring attitude which helped the process greatly. The facilities are very nice and Dr. Montgomery even offered a complimentary class at the beginning of treatment which we found very useful and informative about what to expect. They offer additional products for purchase as well, some which were somewhat pricey such as a 40 dollar styrofoam block for personal use at home. But to be fair, they were very transparent about the cost from the beginning and offered a print-out and thorough explanation of services. They worked with my insurance company which worked out excellent for me. Since I'm a believer now, I'll definitely be making this a regular part of a life long journey. Chiropractic care is definitely an ongoing plan like anything else that requires up keeping. I definitely notice a difference the longer I go without care, things start getting a little more stiff and achy. I feel more loose and fluid immediately after the adjustments as well. My experience here was life changing, especially in learning to have a more open mind. read more
