I was a chiropractic skeptic. For the longest time, I have always told myself the tense muscles and soreness can be fixed with some stretching and exercise. I'm a health nut, I do yoga, I run, I eat well. I am also only in my late 20s, I shouldn't need to go to a chiropractor right? I was so wrong. After reading the great reviews about this place and high recommendations, I made the drive from Austin to Killeen to see Dr. Shawn Isdale. I am so glad I did. Here's my experience, I will update over time on my progress after adjustments. Walking in as a skeptic, I was immediately greeted by the front desk staff. I checked in and while sitting down to fill out my paperwork, I noticed that almost every patient that walks in was greeted by their names by the staff. The customers come in chit chatting with the staff as if they were longtime buds. This is rare to see in a business anymore these days and it was such a gem to see, it made me a bit more comforting in the choice I made to come here. I took my x-rays with Christina, who was friendly and perhaps the most efficient x-ray tech I have ever seen. Then she also did my wellness exam. It was a series of different stretches and bends and boy did the stretches feel good! Perhaps my favorite part of Isdale is that When Dr. Shawn went through my x-ray with me, he explained in detail what I am looking at. Without fail, he pointed out every area on my spine from the x-ray that I would feel pain down to the T. This is when much of my skepticism went out the window. Now that I have been here for about 8 adjustments, I have to admit, I feel much better. Some days I am sore but they told me that ahead of time. I know my body is adjusting back to normal and this is undoing years of curves and twisting that my spine has decided to do. Each appointment I come in is super fast, I am generally in and out within 10 minutes. and yes, I still make the drive from Austin to Killeen to come to this clinic. They care about their customer's well being and that is why they get a thumbs up from me. read more

I've barely been able to walk in there then while about to leave, I look normal, able to walk. Awesome REAL DOCTORS! Once in 2017, I accidentally caused myself a paralyzed wrist sleeping on it wrong. I was so upset. The 1st visit to see Shawn, I was able to move it a little. Not suppose to happen but he's amazing. Now, I've got planter fasciitis & saw Dr Dallas, barely able to walk until he was really able to adjust my foot! These doctors are incredible! read more

My wife and I brought in our 12-year-old son because he was having some back issues while playing sports so we took him to Isdale- the experience was great, the staff was friendly, and the Chiropractors are all professional. My son's doctor, Dr. Dallas, is great, friendly, and has a way with working with people that makes you feel like family. My son has been going there since September and we now take my son in monthly to get adjusted. The pain in my son's back is gone and my son loves it there- we do maintenance now with his back and my son loves everyone there, from the friendly staff greeting you as you come in, to the doctors. Based on yelp reviews, I booked an appointment here -- I woke up with shoulder/neck/back pain, and I was hoping to get an adjustment ASAP. The hours here are really limited, and it was a challenge to get a same day appointment. They did the eval/assessment and X-rays -- I think it ran $79 (with online coupon). This place seems pretty run down, and the furniture/equipment seems cheap and archaic. The chiropractor said he didn't want to give me an adjustment (the reason I came in) willy-nilly without looking over my X-rays, etc. (due to a past car accident). Fine. So, I paid $25 for 10 min on the TENS machine, which helped with muscle pain a little, but not enough to be out $100 now + no adjustment/relief = so disappointed and frustrated. I scheduled an appt for the next day (Friday) -- hoping to get an adjustment. Then, I got a voicemail that they had made a scheduling mistake -- they don't usually see re-evals after 4pm, and that I needed to reschedule for ......Monday. WHA?!!?! Such a waste of my time and $, and I will NEVER go to this place again. read more

I was a patient for over a year and when Dr. Jessica wasn't there I was treated by every other chiropractor in the office at some point in time and they were all so wonderful, made me feel very comfortable. Worst customer service ever! Rude, obnoxious, and frankly ghetto! Isdale may have great chiropractors but i will never find out, they've lost my business due to rude front desk receptionist....and she's rude over the phone too. I normally give people the benefit of the doubt, ive had bad days too, but i called numerous times and even went in person. I witnessed her being rude to another client, and rushed them out the door.
