We learned about Desert Precision Landscaping by reading David B's yelp review comments as a…read moreprofessional in a similar field. Having moved into a house in Sun City Palm Desert in late September, we realized that the very bare back patio needed some serious attention. We met Hector in October and really liked his approach to drawing up a new look for our garden. All we had were several of the usual boxwoods, caesalpinia, and a lime tree. The new image had to be colorful so we approved the 5 yellow trumpet flower bushes because we love the hummingbirds and pollinators so much. Two additional spots would be occupied by two very generous ocotillos, always a favorite. We needed front and back faucets to be upgraded and a regular maintenance team as the spring season requires. We made a date for work to start in early December due to all of our personal commitments. The initial crew worked to rearrange the rocks in the patio area and set up the plantings. They are hard-working and knowledgeable and we appreciated the changes they made. Scheduling is easy with Hector because he responds to messages quickly and he is flexible and understands the importance of the client's needs. This past week the team arrived to prep the ground in the semi-circle of turf and to rearrange the rocks and clean up. We watched them work so hard from early morning to dusk and the results are pretty wonderful!! Should you decide to engage Hector's team you will be impressed by his obvious enthusiam for producing high quality results.

Work and materials were all top notch at a price that was more than competitive. Yes, of the three bids I gathered their bid was the lowest. I often will disregard the lowest bid, but I can honestly say Emmanuel gave me the same confidence that the job would be done right as the much higher bids. I went with El's and looking at the work some 4 months after completion, I am happy to say that I am satisfied with everything and would recommend them to others.

From my very first phone conversation with Emmanuel, I knew I had found the right company for my yard renovation project. That instinct turned out to be absolutely correct. Every aspect of the project was completed with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. Emmanuel is, without question, one of the most professional, personable, collaborative, and talented contractors I have ever worked with. Throughout the entire project, he communicated with me daily to make sure every detail was being completed exactly as I envisioned and to my complete satisfaction. He also was on-site most days to be sure that everything was being done correctly. What really impressed me was even before I signed a contract, he was committed to helping me make informed decisions. He brought samples of artificial turf, ground cover, and paver options for me to review, making the design process easy and enjoyable. His proposal was thoroughly itemized, so I knew exactly what was included and exactly what the project would cost. Even better, the final invoice matched the agreed-upon price to the penny--no surprises, no hidden charges. The entire El's Landscaping crew was outstanding. They were friendly, professional, hardworking, and incredibly respectful of my property. At the end of each workday, they cleaned up thoroughly and left everything neat and orderly. That level of care and professionalism is rare and greatly appreciated. The finished project exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with the results. So once again, my advice is simple: Hire El's Landscaping. If you do, I am confident you'll be just as thrilled with the experience and the results as I am. FIVE STARS AREN'T ENOUGH! (The photos only show one part of the whole project, but you can see what an awesome job they did with the turf around my putting green and the new pathway and circular area for my bistro table and chairs.) He was twice as expensive as my previous gardener, but I went with him after meeting. For a few weeks, things were fine. He showed up as scheduled. I was hopeful. However, all along there were quality concerns. Drip systems were not balanced so plants either got too much or too little water. Lawn mowing was haphazard, leaving the corners untrimmed and unsightly. No lawn edging. Some plants died. Although there is a ficus hedge, he only mowed and blew off the sidewalks. No trimming or other services contemplated by our agreement. The yard actually deteriorated over this period of time and requires significant work to bring it back. Then, without communication, he simply stopped showing up and did not respond to texts for several weeks of scheduled visits. I hope he's ok, but I have had to move on to a more precise service and one that consistently adheres to schedule. I don't have time to manage this work or to engage in a game of Where's Waldo?
