Saul was referred to me by another homeowner in my community. He was quick to come over and assess my needs for lighting and irrigation. He even had one of his team quickly fix a spigot in the garden that was broken without even having an agreement for the work. He sent me a fair a comprehensive estimate. The team arrived on time, were courteous and efficient. The work was completed in a few hours. We have a great lighting for the garden and the irrigation is updated and working properly. Saul was very helpful in explaining the timing system and how he did the work. I would be happy to recommend him to anyone who needs his help. read more

This was my first experience with the company and I am very happy with the work itself and the way that they provided service. They came out the same day when I called them for an estimate of some irrigation and drainage work. I got an emailed estimate later that day and we scheduled the work. They showed up on time, and came in just below the estimate. If needed, I would work with them again and recommend them. read more

I've used Saul and his crew a few times. First when I was having flooding issues on the side of my house. They came and dug drains and fixed the issue at heavy rains. Most recently I put in a new irrigation system and new outdoor path lighting. They did an excellent job. Cleaned up after the work and great follow up. I highly recommend Saul. Two years ago, we had Affordable Irrigation Tech replace two failing plastic valves with brass valves, and recently one started to not shut off properly. Within two days, Saul was able to come repair the system and went above and beyond to make sure everything was working properly. I cannot recommend him enough. Excellent customer service and complete integrity! read more

Purchased a 1950s home recently and found that the irrigation had been shut off for some time and much of it was old and not functioning properly. We had a "neighborhood guy" get things going again, but had some leaking valves and other issues that I wanted to have a professional handle, so I called Saul. He came out for an estimate and we discussed the valve replacement work we wanted done now, as well as future irrigation and lighting work. There was a little back and forth with the appointment scheduling, but once we finally connected, I felt that Saul did an excellent job. He completed the work quickly for the estimated fee and took the time to walk the entire property with me to review the work. He's professional, polite, and reasonably priced. If you need irrigation, lighting, or landscaping services, better call Saul with Affordable Irrigation Tech. We'll for sure use him again. read more

Saul and team are great. Saul is responsive, timely, and generous with his knowledge. Palm trees trimmed and a few skinned, hedges cut back, bottle brush limbs cut, and clippings cleaned up impeccably even skimming the pool of debris. He also did troubleshooting on clogged sprinklers in the back yard, showed me right where the problem was, and fixed it at a nominal price. Saul will also provide us a quote for new irrigation in the front yard and we will most likely use his services for this as well. I highly recommend Affordable Irrigation Tech.. read more

I used them multiple times and they do the above and beyond each time without asking. They are quick and efficient. They are the best! read more

Had a 20 year old sprinkler valve that wouldn't completely close. I submitted a request for a quote, and had an answer back in less than 15 minutes. Was able to schedule the repair for the next day, as the valve was wasting a lot of water. The bill amount came within the estimate range. I was completely satisfied with the work done, and the quality of the replacement valve. I intend to use Affordable Irrigation Tech to replace the remaining valves this year to head off potential future problems. read more

Sol did a really great job updating our irrigation valves a little over a year ago. When they started leaking recently, we gave him a call. Once again, his service was quick. Got right to the source of the problem. He made a repair gave us information about our controller. Service was great price was reasonable. read more

We recently purchased a new home that really needed some fresh landscaping and a professional set of eyes and skill set, which Saul provided us. He went above and beyond our expectations and had amazing communication all throughout with what our likes and dislikes were during every big and small phase of the project. His team are very polite and efficient as well! We are so grateful for his excellent work and care on our house from the 40s!! He removed an old tree and replaced it with dg and cactus. He also removed large river rock and replaced with dg. read more

Saul and his workers were excellent! Really appreciated that he was knowledgeable, professional, and provided quality workmanship for more than reasonable cost. We had a pipe leaking that needed to be replaced, change of valves, and also to check and fix the irrigation for our patio landscaping. We also added on a request for a drain for the patio which he quoted and completed ALL within the same day! Well...it was JUST in time before that strange "hurrisoon" that came through the desert so the patio luckily didn't flood! Would absolutely refer his business and utilize his services again if needed. Will update with pictures later read more

Saul was very responsive the first time I contacted him. We set a time and date to meet at my home. He texted me to tell me he was going to be about 30 minutes late; no problem. He helped me troubleshoot my drip system, which had been down for several months. He gave me a verbal estimate of the cost of repair. I asked for a written estimate by email; he said he would send it, but he never did. On the agreed-upon time and date for him to show up to do the repair, he did not show up. This was a Friday morning. I never heard from him. On the following Tuesday morning I sent him an email letting him know I was going to give him 48 more hours to get back in touch with me before I would leave a negative review. He contacted me later that day and told me he had been sick. He told me he would do the repairs the following morning. Apparently, he did the repairs the following morning. He did not send me a message noting the repairs had been completed or asking for payment. Since I am not currently living in my house, I was not aware the repairs had been completed. He finally sent me an email telling me the phone number to send my Zelle payment to. After the repairs were completed and he turned the drip system back on, he warned me there might be leaks or ruptures in the piping system since it had been empty and unused for several months. Sure enough, three days later the system sprung a leak. I contacted him to let him know there was a leak and I would like him to return to fix the leak. It has been four days since I sent that message. I heard nothing from him. Ghosted. The lack of communication is a huge problem. If he doesn't want a job or has a problem with me, he should be a big enough man to let me know. Not the way to run a business. Look elsewhere! ADDENDUM: Not sure what you're talking about Saul. You quoted me a $265 cost for the valve replacement. You never provided that in a standard written bid. I paid you anyway; sent you a Zelle payment for the exact amount you requested. I have the proof if you need it. Never once did I tell you I wasn't interested in you pursuing work because your cost was too high or not what I wanted to pay; that's just some made up shit. You never even quoted me a price on the burst pipe because you never responded to my inquiry to come look at the burst pipe and give me an estimate. So, to recap for all those reading, you quoted a price on the valve replacement, I paid you for the valve replacement and you decided you didn't want to do any additional work with me. Fine. Just be a man and tell people you don't want to do work for them. You flakiness and your ghosting of customers is a good reason for anybody looking on this website to avoid your business and choose someone else. Plain and simple. read more

Very easy to work with and Saul did a great job! I'll be using Affordable Irrigation Tech for future needs.

Saul was great. He came on super short notice and programmed my controller and inspected my sprinkler heads and valves. I had him out because I just overseeded and watering with the hose was out of the question! He also guided me on general lawn maintenance and fertilizer for my lawn as well. Great guy and prices  are very fair for the quality of work and knowledge. Will be using him again for future work. read more

I always go to yelp to see reviews before inquiring about any job around my house. I have to say the gentleman that showed up today was straightforward and honest. He even fixed a broken sprinkler head before he left. He is giving me a referral for the work I need to be done. In this day and age, it is nice to see professionals who still honor their work. Thank you... read more

Saul and his team are GREAT! This guy is very professional - started with excellent communication - always letting me know when he was 5-10 minutes from arrival. Saul knows his stuff! He removed and set up a new Irrigation Controller. He explained how to operate it and made the whole process SUPER easy! I only wish I had called him sooner. My old controller was outdated and a pain to use. The new controller which Saul got for me is AMAZING and FUN! I can give my plants more water on those extra hot days with the easy-to-use ap. This has made my life a lot easier. Super happy with the entire experience with Saul. Highly recommend him! His prices are super fair too!! read more

I didn't realize that my plastic old filter/pressure controller thing (guess what? I don't know what anything is actually called) had sprung about 7 leaks (which explains the water bill spike and the suspiciously healthy cacti by the spigot) until the day before I left town. I called Saul, texted a photo of the mini Niagara Falls, and he was able to come out that afternoon. Easy and affordable replacement, and I'll be hollering at him when I'm back in town to upgrade the whole thing. Nice guy, solid work, above & beyond prompt service. read more
