Saul was very responsive the first time I contacted him. We set a time and date to meet at my home. He texted me to tell me he was going to be about 30 minutes late; no problem. He helped me troubleshoot my drip system, which had been down for several months. He gave me a verbal estimate of the cost of repair. I asked for a written estimate by email; he said he would send it, but he never did. On the agreed-upon time and date for him to show up to do the repair, he did not show up. This was a Friday morning. I never heard from him. On the following Tuesday morning I sent him an email letting him know I was going to give him 48 more hours to get back in touch with me before I would leave a negative review. He contacted me later that day and told me he had been sick. He told me he would do the repairs the following morning. Apparently, he did the repairs the following morning. He did not send me a message noting the repairs had been completed or asking for payment. Since I am not currently living in my house, I was not aware the repairs had been completed. He finally sent me an email telling me the phone number to send my Zelle payment to. After the repairs were completed and he turned the drip system back on, he warned me there might be leaks or ruptures in the piping system since it had been empty and unused for several months. Sure enough, three days later the system sprung a leak. I contacted him to let him know there was a leak and I would like him to return to fix the leak. It has been four days since I sent that message. I heard nothing from him. Ghosted. The lack of communication is a huge problem. If he doesn't want a job or has a problem with me, he should be a big enough man to let me know. Not the way to run a business. Look elsewhere! ADDENDUM: Not sure what you're talking about Saul. You quoted me a $265 cost for the valve replacement. You never provided that in a standard written bid. I paid you anyway; sent you a Zelle payment for the exact amount you requested. I have the proof if you need it. Never once did I tell you I wasn't interested in you pursuing work because your cost was too high or not what I wanted to pay; that's just some made up shit. You never even quoted me a price on the burst pipe because you never responded to my inquiry to come look at the burst pipe and give me an estimate. So, to recap for all those reading, you quoted a price on the valve replacement, I paid you for the valve replacement and you decided you didn't want to do any additional work with me. Fine. Just be a man and tell people you don't want to do work for them. I didn't realize that my plastic old filter/pressure controller thing (guess what? I don't know what anything is actually called) had sprung about 7 leaks (which explains the water bill spike and the suspiciously healthy cacti by the spigot) until the day before I left town.
