She is ABSOLUTE MAGIC!!!!! I live in los angeles so don't have the ability to know the vendors in Big Sur and she handled EVERYTHING!!!! Her recommendations were top notch and everyone gave us the wedding of our dreams! Truly we were all blown away and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! I will upload more photos as I get them! I don't have photos yet of the reception but it was everything!!! The food, the dj, the flowers, the drinks, the ceremony...all of it. She is an angel...a magical angel! Super reasonable, super attentive, super helpful! She only wanted us to have exactly what we wanted. I cannot recommend her more highly!!!!

I had almost the exact same experience as Olivia below. Our wedding was 1 week before Olivia's and…read morewe had almost an identical experience. I hate to leave a negative review as I knew Diane was dealing with some personal stuff, however, this is not the person you want ghosting you for months leading up to the event or cutting ties with you a week before the event. Also, I heard from an assistant of hers who said she would be taking over (we never knew Diane had an assistant) however when we emailed this assistant back, they never responded. We tried reaching out to Diane several times and eventually took matters in our own hands and organized our day assuming Diane would be nowhere to be found. Then 1 week before our wedding when everything was set, she began emailing our vendors (photographer, flowers, videographer, officiant, hair and makeup) and communicating a completely different timeline and old information that was wrong!?! She had not read our emails we copied her on for months and caused so much unnecessary headaches the week before our wedding bc we had to go back to each vendor and explain that Diane's information was old and dated and to stick with the timeline we had communicated. This is. Not what you want to be doing last minute. In the end, we all agreed to part ways. Our wedding turned out exactly as we wanted minus the Loss of the $750 for Paion that she suggested and minus the headaches and drama leading up to the event. I can say that she gave us a list of vendors which we paid for, however we did hours of our own research to find hair and makeup & photographer and deserts. The only vendors we used from her were our catering company, Catering Monterey- phenomenal btw - officiant, Soaring Starkey- HIGHLY RECOMMEND, and Big Sur flowers, they were pretty good and made a gorgeous bouquet but had some issues delivering the flowers to us the morning of and left them at Glen oaks reception instead of the house which was frustrating bc we were on a timeline and the reception is not close to the house. The worst part about this experience is that not only did things get so contested and we agreed to part ways 1 week before the event, she also listened to my vision and then booked us for Paion Estates which after talking to my photographer, Lynn Lewis (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) we realized that my vision would not happen at Paion. So we lost our $750 deposit for that location in order to take the wedding photos on the Rocky cliffs (north of glenoaks) which is all I explained I wanted from the beginning and showed very detailed images of my vision. Lynn Lewis, our photographer ended up putting together the day of timeline and making all our dreams for our elopement come true. her services include vendor referrals and timeline management. I'd you're having a small wedding, skip the coordinator all together and just go with Lynn. Lynn was the photographer we found on our own. I'd be happy to talk to any future bride about my experience. Drop me a message and I'll email you. Diane was a nice person and in the beginning I thought this would be great, but as time passed it was clear she's had other things going on and was not 100% committed or at least she wasn't with Olivia and myself.

Like most brides I thought I could do it all myself until my workload became more than I could handle on my own. The attention to detail is unparalleled - Kristine put in a lot of effort into our wedding and I cannot thank her enough for the hard work, attentiveness and detailed organization that lead to the success of our wedding. The process was thorough, it was above and beyond my expectations. After each meeting, seeing everything come together put me at ease and made the experience more enjoyable. I could not believe on my wedding day how they put my vision into fruition. I highly recommend Catalyst Events Company.

I had a wonderful time and eased my anxiety and i was able to pull off a fabulous proposal.

We had never hired a Wedding Videographer before and we didn't know what to expect. Marcos was…read moreresponsive and understood how difficult this decision was for us. When I say responsive, I mean picking up the phone, answering emails in a timely manner, and being open to communication via text. He was meticulous in his attentiveness meaning he scheduled time to talk to us and get to know us prior to the big day and made sure we never felt rushed. He was good at listening during our phone conversations and making sure he understood our vision. He also had a very easy-going manner which matched perfectly with our personality. We definitely felt the attention to detail and that Marcos tailored our experience to fit our specific needs. We were blown away by the quality of the final product. Everyone that we show the video to tells us that they feel like they were there in person and that the video was beautiful. When we showed the video to family, tears were shed. You just can't get that emotion from photography. We would 100 percent recommend Roca Films to anyone who wants a beautiful way to remember their special day.

Beauty is in the eye of the camera holder, and it takes a certain talent to capture people. Tom is so wonderful to be around that everyone relaxes, and he knows just how to capture every person's unique beauty as well as the magic in every moment. Truly the best of the best - in talent, personality, and style. He is the one person I will go to until the day he puts his camera away (which I hope is never.)

Natural Satellite DJ'd our wedding. I cannot recommend him highly enough…read more He was so professional... also quite caring about what we wanted. He had a lot of questions about what we were looking for & even allowed us to choose the songs on our playlists for different parts of our wedding event... because we wanted to be involved in that. I KNOW he'd be amazing in choosing for someone who just wanted it taken care of for them. He showed up with more than enough time to set up & test his equipment, which I really appreciated. He was there for our rehearsal, and worked through the kinks with us. He was so patient & understanding, because we wanted to do A LOT of rehashing, to get it just right & make sure everyone knew what their roles were. He got the sound/volume right, in outdoor conditions, which as I understand is not easy. He totally understood the timing we were going for & delivered flawlessly. He even suggested a song for us, that we ended up choosing for the isle walk! One thing I love about his presence & the way he works is he lets the music speak for him. He's not one of those DJs that screams in the mic. He allows the music to create the mood & the ambiance. It was such a fundamentally relaxing approach for me... and on a day there is plenty to be stressed about, it really was a grounding aspect of our wedding to have him there... and in charge of one of the most fundamental mood-makers for the entire event. What an amazing day & what a wonderful person to enjoy it with! I would 100% recommend him to be your DJ! Great job, great day & a great person.

They enjoy what they do and the pictures are great! The engagement ring arrived nearly one week later then I have expected. Therefore, I had to arrange the photographers at the last minute (you should book ahead, I was lucky). Cindy got back to my voice mail on Saturday night and she was very understanding about my situation. Initially I wanted to propose at the Spanish bay, and Cindy suggested me to propose on Carmel beach instead due to better sun light direction. Expect the professional advice about the location, she also told me where to park. This turned out to be very important because it was quite crowded on Sunday morning. They stalked us carefully and I really surprised my fiancee when I proposed to her. They did a great job capturing this very moment for us. Cindy shared the photos with me less than 5 hours after the proposal. We shared our happiness with family and friends on the same day! Definitely recommend! We really love the pictures! Also it was comfortable to work with Cindy and George since they were very happy for us :D
