As our officiant, Minister Hayne created a ceremony that was heartfelt, personal, and beautifully tailored to our story. Her warm, calming presence made the entire experience feel meaningful, genuine, and filled with joy. Many of our guests commented on how touching and well‑delivered the ceremony was. As our photographer, she was just as incredible. She made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera and captured every important moment with creativity and care. The photos turned out absolutely stunning--full of emotion, detail, and authenticity. We now have a gorgeous collection of memories that we'll cherish forever. Handling both roles seamlessly is no small task, but Minister Hayne did it with grace, professionalism, and passion. We couldn't have asked for a better person to guide our ceremony and preserve our most special moments. On the day of my wedding, the reception setup was exactly as I had imagined--floating candles and my favorite flowers, baby's breath, creating a magical forest-inspired atmosphere. There was a small hiccup when my wedding cake arrived--it looked beautiful, but the color palette wasn't quite what I had envisioned unfortunately. However, Rebecca worked her magic with her own dried flowers, and I ended up with a completely new cake that was a much better match for the theme. It feels like it was just yesterday, even though it's been a year. Thank you again for making my dream wedding a reality!

Rebecca was absolutely amazing helping me plan everything, thinking of things that I never would have thought of, helping me to deal with last-minute stressors, and managing our day perfectly. So many people came up to me to tell me how awesome our wedding planner was, and how well-run everything was at our wedding. We are SO appreciative. She knows all the other vendors in the area, and had fantastic suggestions for who we used. She also knew our venue really well, so helped us iron out all the little details that needed to be figured out. I don't think I realized how much goes into planning a wedding before I planned my own wedding, and there's no way we could have done it without Rebecca! I was really stressed before our wedding with all of the last minute prep, and Rebecca knew exactly what needed to happen and helped me feel so taken care of. The day of the wedding I literally didn't worry about anything because her team was so on top of it, we had a perfect magical day!

Having worked in events, I was determined to direct the creative vision of our wedding...but with work and the stress of planning a wedding from distance, how was I going to stay on task, remember due dates, and remain a relatively calm bride to be?! Well the answer is the very well organized, diplomatic (and when needed sympathetic), Katherine Noller-Fernandez. While planning our Monterey/Carmel Valley wedding from Newport Beach, there was always an email reminder or phone call keep me on task. Whenever I was worried we weren't far enough along in our planning she would let me know I was doing just fine. She works well with all of the vendors, and when difficulties arise is very diplomatic. I have read the reviews for Custom Celebrations - and I had no idea Katherine had so many clients! This is actually a huge testament to her, however, because I honestly felt like I was her only bride. Now, I am not saying this because I was living in the bridal state known as "It's all about me", but because she truly makes you feel like you're her only client. Phone calls were returned right away and she always makes time for you when she meets with you. She has several package options ranging from Full Service to Day Of, depending on what you are looking for.Working with her is a pleasure!

Choosing Janice as our wedding planner was the best decision my fiancé and I made throughout the…read morewhole wedding planning process. She was the first vendor we ever booked, and she is worth every penny and so much more. A month after we got engaged, my fiancé and I decided to try and visit some venues. After visiting seven wedding venues in two days and driving a total of 8 hours back and forth, we decided we can't do this alone, and needed a wedding planner. We chose Janice because of her exceptional background experience and her willingness to customize a package that fit our needs and our budget. Janice is very professional, responds to emails very quickly, which was very important to me, and she's just fun and easy to work with. Janice started us off with a checklist every month that listed things that we should and need to do. Janice helped us find a beautiful venue that fit our required parameters. Without Janice's help, it would be highly unlikely that we would have found Half Moon Bay Golf Links as a venue. It was perfect in the fact that it was by the ocean, had a beautiful backdrop of the Ritz Carlton, and the menu served steak and lobster, which was a must! Not only did Janice help us secure a venue, she also helped us find a DJ and when we decided last minute that we wanted a videographer, she tapped into her extensive network to give us some options within our price range. Janice helped us review all contracts we signed with other vendor which was super helpful because sometimes we would miss details that we would want clarified within the contract. She also negotiated rates on our behalf and saved us thousands of dollars, literally. Janice always had our best interest in mind. Janice was always on top of things and super responsive over emails. We did almost all of our correspondences over email. We met with Janice for the first time during our menu tasting at our venue. She came prepared and full of questions for the venue and took copious notes. After the meeting she followed up with the venue coordinator to nail down the details. Janice sent us a template of a minute-by-minute timeline that served as a way to organized and plan our wedding day. When she first sent it to us, it was one and a half pages. She mentioned that by the time the wedding rolled around, the document would be 10+ pages. It was hard to imagine at first, because we thought how much more details could there possibly be? Little did we know that as we planned and organized our day and all the logistics, the document ended up to be 17 pages long! It literally was a minute by minute break down of our wedding day. We shared it with our family and friends and everyone knew exactly what was going on and when. The father of the bride was so impressed with Janice's professionalism. Our wedding day was a great success and everything went off without a hitch, at least that is how we saw things. If anything did go awry or a miss, we didn't know about it and that was because Janice was on top of everything! She made sure everything and everyone was where they were supposed to be and that our day was flawless. We had many friends come up to us during the reception asking for Janice's contact info, they were all equally amazed by the wonderful work she does. Without Janice, we would not have been able to enjoy our wedding and just be present in the moment. Even after the wedding, Janice sent a friendly email reminding us of things we should take care of, like sending in the marriage certificate and little details on the gifts and cards that people had given us on the day. Janice is truly the best of the best, and we are so fortunate to have worked with her. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

We were also reluctant to get one because the planners we've seen or heard of previously either weren't good or didn't really do much. But hiring Janice was one of THE best wedding decisions we made, if not the very best because we truly believe it would've been a hot mess without her! We live in NY but wed in San Francisco and both of us worked way too much to plan a destination wedding, so she definitely didn't have an easy task. I researched and contacted a ton of planners, but ultimately hired Janice because she was the only one that consistently responded right away, was really friendly, and had a background in corporate event planning in NY. I figured - if she responds right away, she'll be on top of things, and if she can handle NYC corporate events, she can pretty much handle anything. Janice definitely didn't disappoint and was AMAAAZING! Her minute by minute timeline is enough to hire her on the spot. Our vendors and wedding party were really impressed. If there were any hiccups during our wedding, I had no idea about them because she handled everything with grace and kept us both super relaxed throughout the day. Our family and friends also LOVED her and thought she was the best wedding coordinator they've ever seen and have been recommending her left and right. Even though we hired her for day-of planning, it's not really day-of because she ended up doing super detailed planning at least 2 months out with all of our vendors. She's incredibly professional, amazingly organized, super friendly even in the most stressful situations and best of all, she made sure we ENJOYED OUR WEDDING! Every single couple we talked to before the big day kept telling us how stressful it would be and how we wouldn't even have time to eat. But, she actually made sure we had time to enjoy our food and have FUN!!! Our wedding was such a blast, thanks to Janice!

Every interaction with her was professional, yet warm, and we felt completely comfortable and supported throughout the entire process, even if we did initially feel awkward in front of the camera! She was a joy to work with on the day of, she hyped us up and really added to the incredible vibes on our special day. She is incredibly adaptable and experienced, our venue presented some challenging light conditions and we were nervous the video wouldn't look very good because the aesthetics weren't, but she was able to work with it and still come out with a work of ART. Jack truly personalized our ceremony and was very thorough and detail-oriented. He originally met with us over Zoom and had even taken the time to personalize our wedding ceremony ahead of time and went over it. We knew instantly we wanted to hire him! Jack was then available by text and email for any changes to the ceremony or updates about the wedding. Our guests loved that he did not do the "repeat after me" vows and simply stated them for us to say, almost as if we had memorized the vows! Jack is an open-minded and non-judgemental minister who wants your wedding ceremony to reflect your love and does offer bilingual and LGBTQ+ wedding ceremonies as well. Jack is so friendly and completely put us at ease on the day of the wedding. He was hilarious and rolled with the punches, especially when I tried grabbing the mic from him accidentally when saying my vows and then when my husband put my ring on the wrong finger! Jack was very accommodating especially with covid-19, we ended up having a vaccinated-only wedding ceremony and reception. Jack let us know he is fully vaccinated, had received his booster, and continuously gets covid tested every two weeks for the safety of his clients. Leading up to the wedding, she was a crucial partner in the wedding design process. Miranda helped define the style and aesthetic for the decorations, and provided pro-tips on the setup including recommendations on how to organize the tables and utilize the space. He responded right away to our email, provided a detailed document with his packages and pricing, and scheduled an introduction call to walk through our needs and budget. We got married at Silver Creek Valley Country Club and he has past experience working there for multiple weddings. We got along with him really well and decided to book him as our DJ/MC and included sound/lighting/photobooth/sparklers. PLANNING We had a 1 hour planning call 1 week before our wedding to walk through our timeline, script, important moments, music requests, lighting and music cues, and overall logistics to prepare on-site. We provided him our full song list and marked the ones that were on the do not play list. We also provided him practice videos of our dances and specific time cuts of our songs. He asked all the right questions and was very organized. We felt like we were in very good hands. ON-SITE Hieu and his crew arrived early to set up and were ready to go for the ceremony. We didn't run into any mic/audio issues that I'm aware of and everything sounded great. We were a bit behind on our schedule but Hieu was very flexible and patient as we quickly tried to speed up the program to get back on track. He was very dynamic and had a great entertainer's voice that was clear and easy to understand in both English and Vietnamese. He customized the lighting for different parts of the night and had a sick set up for our group dance that turned into open dancing. We requested a lot of 2010s EDM, hip hop and pop songs and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! We asked him to play bangers the last hour and it was definitely a party! ADD-ONS: The cold sparklers were AMAZING! I 100% recommend getting them if your venue allows it. We had them light up during our first dance lift and group dance and everyone went crazy! The Magic Me photobooth was also super cool! We were able to customize the background, message and photo print design ahead of time and a team member was there to help take photos and keep the line moving. We received the digital photo gallery a few days later and it included both standard and animated GIF versions. BONUS: Their team took a super awesome video reel of our wedding highlights and posted on their social channels.
