So then I was left with 4 chairs. I bought really nice material and foam and fabric scissors and a fabric nail gun and I went to work. I took off the seat pad and stripped off the fabric and threw away the old foam. I bought new foam and cut the new material and tried to re-upholster is myself. I finished and I just stared at it for about half an hour. I mean it would work but it was wrong. I don't know how else to say it other than it was wrong. The shape was wrong. The cloth was loose. I was so disheartened but I also did not have money to get it professionally done.....or so I thought. My grandmother had her couch re-upholstered professionally somewhere else and it cost her over $4,000 so I am expecting 4 chairs could be like $1,000 maybe. I didn't know what it would cost but I was expecting it to cost a lot. After 6 months of barely using the chairs and just staring at them I finally requested a quote on Yelp from Herrera's Upholstry. Ben got back to me right away and his quote was really low....like i was not sure if he was quoting me just for labor or something. I was a little confused. Anyways my wife dropped off the chairs and picked them up and he kept the price as what he said. My wife gave him a little extra because he had to use extra material. I think thats fair. I get home from work to look at the work they did and WOW! Just wow. This guy does some really good quality work. I will be bringing back more stuff for him to reuphoster. Thanks for the great work!

Unfortunately the quote was so high at the other stop that we were thinking about just purchasing new chairs instead of repairing our old ones. We decided to check with Arnold's Upholstery before giving up and we are sure glad we did! We found nearly an exact match of the material among the hundreds of rolls of material he had in stock. I was nervous whether he could match the decorative seam on the front of each chair, as well as the sewn in seam material around the seat edge and back, but he said he could do it no problem. His price quote was significantly lower than the first shop, so we decided to have the chairs recovered rather than search for new ones. We dropped the chairs off on Friday afternoon and he called to let me know they were ready on the following Monday morning. Unbelievably fast service and we couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship. Excellent work at an affordable price. Highly recommend this shop.

I hired Juan to restore/replace the interior of a 1977 camero - upholstery, carpet, dash-pad,…read moreconsole, door panels, carpet, seatbelts, door weather stripping, etc... I purchased all required parts. The job was supposed to take 4 weeks, but took 7. The first attempt to pick it up, I noticed immediately that the instrument cluster in dash came loose when he changed the dash-pad. The speedometer was literally tilted forward and down. The headlight knob was dangling and the lights would not turn off. I ended up having to leave it another day. When I picked it up the next day, I noticed a couple small things, like how he monkey rigged the glove box to stay in place, as it was broken and hanging from the dash. At this point, I decided to get the car out of there - I did not want him to touch anything else. Once I got it out of his dimly lit shop, OMG! The upholstery work was acceptable - a couple loose areas and messed up stitching in a couple spots. Almost everything else was terrible! There are so many issues that I have to have fixed, it's hard to believe this guy does this for a living! I texted Juan and Juan Jr. the below, when I got home. No response from them! 1. Window moldings not replaced 2. The ac will only blow at feet. The duct was broken or removed when doing dash pad. 3. Window switches pop right out of the nasty hole cut in console. 4. Front seats are loose 5. Bottom of back seats are not even connected. 6. Both plastic seatbelt guides were broken during installation 7. Not sure what the bracket contraption is under glove box, but it's hanging and obviously broken 8. Driver window only rolls half way because it's binding on something due to door panel installation9. Door handles still broken. I'm surprised they were not repaired with a screw when panel was off, or you didn't tell me I needed new ones. - I'm sure there is more. You ripped me off. There is no way you didn't know all this
