Duran's happened to have some vinyl in stock that was suitable for my seat cushion, footrest, and headrest so he quoted me a discounted price for not needing to order upholstery. Plus, fast turnaround since they already had the material. I had previously been quoted twice the price so I promptly left that place and went to Duran. read more

Super great service!!! Luis is awesome! I don't usually leave reviews but I had to for this. I was looking for someone to repair my convertible top, and drove around to a few other upholstery auto shops in Fresno and let me say this. Their price is ridiculous (won't name them)!!! Luis price is so fair and good compare to others and his work is great! Other upholstery place was telling me they couldn't do it how I wanted and I would need to replace the whole top even tho I had no rips. Very pleased with the work done on our 3 seat couch and single couch. They came to pick up the couches and dropped them off too. The work was very professional and I would recommend. Our sofas were leather and needed to be replaced since they were damaged by our cats. We bought our own material at the material store located near 21st and Damen. In the last 4 months Duran Upolstery has completed 3 jobs for us. He replaced rush seats with fabric seats on a set of antique dining room chairs. Next he made slip covers for a rocker and ottoman. One, he is a very nice, approachable guy. Two, he did a fantastic job. I had an old Ethan Allan office chair whose upholstery was torn and cushions were gone. He installed new cushions and upholstery on there and it looks impeccable. I needed a couch cushion reupholstered. It has rounded edges which appeared to be a pretty tough job. Not only was David able to upholster the new fabric for my couch cushion but he did it with a zipper so I can take the fabric off the cushion and wash it anytime I needed to. The job was amazingly done well, on top of that he had it complete a couple days before he said he would, although I wouldn't expect that to happen every time, he seems pretty busy which is a good thing in my book. I would give him another star if I could. read more

They did a great job on the bench covers! I brought in the fabric and picked the thickness of foam and had zippers added! Very satisfied!

I just had my moms Ford Mustang convertible top fixed because the back window wasn't put in correct from the company where she had the top put in it fell out. So Duran answered all my questions and I asked him if he could fix the leaking pistons that moved the top up and down he said he could. I was scheduled on a Tuesday but I asked if he could do it on the Monday instead and he would see what he can it I dropped off the car and we got a call the car was all fixed that day. Very excellent customer service and excellent quality of work I would definitely take all your upholstery needs here. I want to thank his son for making this happen also. Mr. Duran came and looked at our couch and promised to call me with an estimate. A week later still no estimate so I called him. He said "Oh, let me look up the order and I will call you right back." No call. I left ONE MORE MESSAGE in case he mysteriously had lost all paperwork and info and again, no response. With three young kids and a busy life I can't possibly pin this guy down for an estimate. For some reason he decided to pass on a $1500 plus job. read more
