This post office is a lot slower than the one in Marina, so anytime I'm in the areas I visit this…read morelocation. I needed to ship off my passport renewal application and was too afraid to do it in my own. I came into this location for assistance with shipping out my package and ensuring I have all of the right documents. The first person to help me was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, when we got to the end of my package she informed me that I have to pay either by check or with a money order as this is all the department of state will accept for passport renewals. I was forced to leave, go to the bank, and come back. At this point, I was helped by a different employee that was helpful- but a little rude. Additionally, I noticed other employees being rude and snappy to customers.

I usually do all my post office business in Marina, but decided to come here. I had a package to…read moremail and drove by a post office, and thought, well, get that chore done. The COVID protocols are in place with markings on the floor to indicate correct social distancing. The service was also outstanding. Goodness. Those Postal Workers having to work under the current circumstances happening in the world. It is quite scary. There was a line, but it moved quickly. I was a bit concerned at being around so many people, but dang it, COVID has everyone, especially me, afraid to be around too many peeps. I probably won't be going out of my way to come to this Post Office location. But only because is not my "go to" Post Office. If you happen to be in this neighborhood and need to mail something, I would say, yes, this Post Office will suffice. Thank you postal workers for doing your job. Happy Yelping Peeps.

never thought i'd leave a yelp review for a post office but i felt the need to say this is the best…read moreone i've ever had out out of anywhere i've ever lived. everyone i've ever interacted with (mail carriers, in the post office itself, on the phone, etc.) have been a total joy. john our mail carrier is just amazing- so kind, generous, & i always look forward to seeing him. and jennifer at the post office is so incredibly helpful (when i had a mail hold and a package had been scanned but not delivered (FYI i now know that it'll be scanned even with a mail hold on & delivered later), she helped me track it down and got in touch with john who even got it & delivered it that same day after the normal delivery. the team here really does seem to care & always seems to go above and beyond. will really miss them when i move out of pacific grove!

I work here. It's a huge facility, repurposed from the old VA hospital. As such, the facility is…read moredeeply spooky and quite haunted. On our floor, we're at the very end of a long hallway that dead ends. And our offices constantly smell of burnt toast. Why? No one knows, and it's kinda creepy. There are none of the classical "cold spots", but there are moving "hot spots", where several people will suddenly feel a large increase in temperature. Wierd. There are also odd flushing noises from walls that are basically just office partitions, and sounds of running water where there are no water pipes. Lights flicker, chairs and equipment randomly rearrange on their own. Phones randomly ring with no caller data. Wireless drops in wierd ways at odd times. I like the work, and I like the people, but the creepy pasta factor is way high.
