Tables are amply spaced apart, the whole atmosphere of the restaurant feels comfortable and relaxed. Menu wise, a great variety of different dishes from pizza's to pasta, fish dishes to steak. Meals to suit to different appetites and budgets. We have dined here several times, the lobster pasta being particularly flavoursome, but on this occasion we had a voucher for 2 for 1 on main courses. Although some of the menu like VIP pizzas, steaks etc, were excluded from the deal, there was still plenty to choose from. I had a Vesuvio pizza, a fantastic pizza, very spicy, resplendent with sweet riquito peppers and pepperoni, whilst my wife had a light pasta, which comprised of a smaller dish of pasta, with an accompanying salad, and a complimentary dressing. All in all two cracking main courses. You have to have a dessert, it would be rude not to! A little on the expensive side, but the honeycomb crunch cheesecake, was delightfully light and flavoursome. As there were four of us, we chose 4 starters to share - Bresaola, bolognese topped portobello mushroom, battered calamari and whitebait, and traditional garlic pizza bread. An eclectic mix that went together well, the portion size was good and the food was tasty. Good pacing of the meal meant that the mains arrived about 15 minutes after the starters, all were piping hot, straight from the oven and still bubbling! My Pancake Vesuvio was a great wholesome meal, packed with prawns and just the right size. To round off the meal, we plumped for a dessert, which were all pretty standard fare.
