Dia La Pizzeria on the Delph in Swadlincote serves the greatest pizzas in the area. Reasonably…read morepriced, oodles of topping and they taste fantastic! They have a good range of set pizzas like the classic Hawaiian or the more exotic sounding Orient Express, or you can build your own from a multitude of toppings. The pizzas come in four sizes from small to extra large, and they also do stuffed crusted pizzas and calzone. Personally for me ham, mushroom and pepperoni is just fantastic. Dia la Pizzeria also offers a good range of pasta dishes, jacket potatoes, chicken and a variety of different burgers. They have also recently started serving Mexican food, including nachos and enchiladas. They offer a range of meal deals including the early week special and the 'Family Feast' Although Dia la Pizzeria has a sizeable restaurant area where you can eat in, which has an American Diner type feel, they also have a delivery service. This is free with orders over £10, £1.20 delivery otherwise, but orders have to be over a £5. Simply just the best pizzas I've ever had!

Dia La Pizzeria in Swadlincote offers a nice menu covering delicious Pizza's, a variety of burgers,…read morekebabs amongst others and a good selection of starters. Particular mention from the starters menu has to go to the Garlic mushrooms which come in garlic butter and is a reasonably sized portion....they are delicious and also come with two slices of garlic bread! The Pizza's are an extremely tasty alternative to the more expensive Domino's Pizza and the toppings are fresh and of good quality. If you are looking for a value for money Pizza takeaway when guests are visiting then Dia La Pizzeria is definately the place to go/call! The burgers are nice on the whole although I wasn't particularly keen on the chicken burgers as the meat consistency didn't seem right and had a somewhat rubbery texture. The chips are essentially fries and are siimilar to most places that do not specialize in chips (fish and chip shops!) but still taste really nice and are cooked just right. I give this outlet 4 out of 5 stars as although the food on their menu is lovely on the whole there are a few dishes that haven't been to my personal liking and I would like to see more variety on the deserts menu. Don't let this put you off however as I have been going there for over four years and still go there when I fancy a nice pizza!

Prezzo - Still seem to have chef issues :(

What a deplorable experience this evening - here's hoping that regional management sees this review…read moreand remedies the situation - we do not plan to return that is for sure! Been there several times over the last 2 years, forgot to write a review for some reason but our experience varies from very pleasant (4 stars) to just OK largely dependent on the staff member serving us - one lovely server (Polish I believe) was outstanding - friendly, warm and fun. So what happened tonight, Saturday Feb 1 2020? We arrived at 4:20 looking to have a simple meal before going to the movie theater (Odeon) next door where Inhad already bought tickets for the 5:45 show. So far so good - and the restaurant was virtually empty. BUT the server tells us they have staff problems, 2 chefs had recently quit leaving only one who looked to be in a foul mood (do you want a chef with an attitude fixing a meal for you? Me neither!). Not only that - but despite the sea of empty they had some reservations later and it would take 45 minutes to an hour to serve us (really!?!?!). So guess what - we had no option but to walk out! Never again at this Prezzo- pitiful!! Review #9 2020

We were given a voucher for a meal and a glass of wine! The food was delicious! However the seating…read morematerial was worn through (I had a short skirt on!) it was very uncomfortable. The floor tiles were cracked in places and looked tatty, the disabled toilet was dirty and when leaving we were presented with a bill for £7 for extras which was fine. However they explained a 10% service charge would be added automatically and could be removed by the manager if we wished. We said we would pay it, the bill was only £7! When we presented our card it took £14 (10% of the total food bill consumed)! When challenged the manager told us it was too late and there was nothing he could do about it!!! We had heard rumours about this place, they were right !!!

One of my new local supermarkets - have always loved Morrisons based on the store in Letchworth…read morewhere my dear ol' Mom and Dad lived until they passed. The store is clean, well stocked and the staff helpful and friendly. Lots of products (bread, ready meals, pizza) made on the premises. Despite it's medium size the variety and selections are great. There is an extensive cafe for breakfast and lunch with very reasonable prices, once the COVID pandemic is over - if that ever comes to pass! Speaking of COVID I find their prep and precautions of a somewhat lower standard than the nearby Sainsbury's which has become my "go to" for most things these days. If it's so good why not 5 stars - if they were to provide Internet for their customers then 5 gleaming stars could be a possibility :)

Morrisons in Swadlincote opened just under two years ago, at the bottom of Coppice Side, and has…read moreproved to be very popular ever since. It has a large easily accessible car park and there are steps from Swadlincote town centre that bring you out right next to the entrance. It has a comprehensive range of facilities including cash points, a dry cleaning facility and a large cafe. The shop itself is vast, opening with huge fruit and vegetable area, flanked by a fishmongers and a salad bar. The fruit and veg here is easily the best in terms of quality and variety of the supermarkets in the area. This Morrisons also has a comprehensive audio visual section, which has a good mix of chart CDs, games and DVDs, along with some great bargains. A hot meats counter, a large bakery and a desserts area complete the back end of the shop. The home section at the centre of the shop, provides quality homeware for people just starting out in the first home, as well as more luxuriant items. The large butchers in the far corner serves a wide variety of different meats and cuts. As with any Morrisons, there are some great deals to be found on virtually anything and as a result make it a great place to shop. But what often goes unnoticed is that this store is always well stocked and kept impeccably clean. Attached to the store is a large cafe, which again is maintained well. It has a wide variety of cold and hot drinks, sandwiches, and snacks, as well as a constantly updated hot food menu. The food is tasty and inexpensive, but for me has an overeliance on chips, but this doesn't stop the cafe being extremely popular. The Morrison Petrol Station is a little way from the main store, selling petrol at a competitive price, with an added car wash. Access to and from the petrol station can be tricky at peak times though.
