However, with the help of Nathaniel (thanks bud!!), I still managed to find a boot I loved and that worked really well with my bizzaro narrow feet. In addition to buying boots I also brought in a pair of new skis and bindings to get mounted AS WELL as my rock skis for a wax and tuning. And oh my lord they got my old skis looking incredible!!! Even better is they hardly charged me for the repairs and mounting since I bought boots. This was really generous and something I really appreciate, especially since I know REI would've charged me quite a bit if I brought in such banged up skis for a service. Overall, I felt like the sales team were all really passionate about skiing and loved to talk about the sport. There's a laid back and non-pretentious feeling about shopping there even though they had hella variety of gear and brands. All was going well until one afternoon my bike developed problems. Since we were near Missoula, we made a detour in hopes of finding a bike shop that would help out and make the repair without delaying our travel plans. After arriving in Missoula I just started calling shops. My third try was with Open Road and they told me to bring it in and that they'd get me back on the road quickly. AND...... that's exactly what they did, and at a very fair price.
