I spoke with Brandon about financing, and was able to get the details sorted out within a couple days. It was a surprise bday gift for my son...they even hooked us up with a fancy bow for the bike, and helped make it a memorable experience. Went over the details and tips for the initial maintenance, gave a breakdown of recommended future maintenance and their costs (and enough detail if we were to do it ourself). The in-store team was helpful, friendly and my experience with Maverick was nothing but positive!

Then we had similar conversations about jackets, gloves, and radio / communication systems. No pressure; just helpful and seemed genuine. It's understandable that they don't keep much inventory in stock. But I was glad to find they had enough there, from a few different brands I wanted to compare, that I could try a few things on and get a general sense for materials and construction quality as well as size and fit. They ordered what I wanted and I plan to go back and support this local shop by purchasing through them next time.

The good: my service advisor was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. And the mechanic seemed very competent. They have an awesome lounge area on the second floor with couches tvs and vending machines. They also have a storage for your baggage/panniers/side bags. If I would have known this... it would have saved me an Uber back to the RV park. Regardless, super traveler friendly. I was there almost 5 hours waiting. Which was expected and communicated. The bad: the dude in the accessories dept and the other person working the service desk are not a good look for this business. The accessories guy complained "if I'm only looking up spark plug number all day, I'm going to find another job, this place sucks" plenty loud for me and a couple other customers to overhear. The irony was one of the other customer was there looking for a spark plug...‍ The other guy at the service desk, refused to interact with me. I stood at the desk for an uncomfortable amount of time while he used the computer, never acknowledging my presence. I finally asked if I needed to ring a bell or something, still not saying a word, he went and got my original service advisor. Overall, a couple bad staff overshadow this great business. Missoula is growing like mad! Find people who want to be helpful and employed even if they aren't subject matter experts. They can learn.

Big sky motorsports installed two new Michelin pilot 6 tires. the total for tires and insulation was $1116 I feel I got ripped off. I've never heard of any shop charging that much to install tires in my over forty years of riding. I had a group of riders waiting for me so just paid the $1116 and got on the road. I'm going to reach out to the manager and ask for a refund of a couple hundred dollars and will update my review.
