Our guides were absolutely fantastic and the communication was superb! It was the first fly fishing trip for our family and it definitely did not disappoint. Our guides gave us a quick tutorial of the basics before we loaded into the boats to float the river. They were fantastic all along the way giving clear instructions and incredibly patient as we caught multiple fish. Our children, ages 10 and 12, loved the trip just as much, if not more, than their parents. The boats were in wonderful shape and all equipment was well maintained and easy to use. We enjoyed the trip so much that we didn't want it to end (we only booked a 1/2 day trip) and will definitely contact Montana Angling Company if we are ever in the area again. His rowing, knowledge on fish feeding trends, and all around personality on the boat make him REALLY hard to beat. Booked a half day float fishing trip and loved every minute! Max was very communicative during booking and incredibly helpful with questions. Our guide Will was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. We are two novice fisherman, and Will made us feel at ease and was an excellent teacher.
